After I have sprayed an insecticide how long should I wait before I can put out a roach bait?

We've already used raid max spray to no avail.now we want to use a roach bait. Do we need to wait a few weeks for the spray to dissapait or can we use a bait now??

Answer:

When treating for roaches, we recommend using a bait, a liquid insecticide and an insect growth regulator (IGR). You are able to treat with all 3 of these products at the same time, just not on top of each other. For instance, our Roach Control Kit # 2 has all 3. The Demon WP is for crack and crevice treatment around baseboards. Dilute 1 packet per gallon of water in a pump sprayer and apply in cracks and crevices where pests are seen, may harbor, or may enter the structure (corners, baseboards, and under and behind appliances) Do not spray on top of baits where bait will be used. Gentrol Point Source Stations (IGR) - this is insect "birth control". These packs contain  Hydroprene, which halts population growth by keeping younger stages of roaches from developing into breeding adults therefore, reducing the population.  These packs last 90 days and are to placed in areas where roach activity has been observed ( cabinets, closets, pantries, drawers, refuse areas, electrical boxes, equipment, and false ceilings) Invict Roach Bait Gel - Apply bait in small spots about ¼” in diameter. For most infestations, applications should range from 10 to 20 spots per 100 square feet. Smaller, more frequent spots are better than occasional large spots. Pay particular attention to cracks which lead into void areas, and specifically look for warm, moist areas. Insert the syringe tip directly into the crack and apply about 0.5g (pea size) amount of bait. ** You do not place bait on top of where you have sprayed the Demon WP *** All 3 of the products are meant to be used at the same time for effective treatment.
