Why do I need to use so many different products?
It is important to treat the many different areas that bedbugs hide. Each product included in the kit has a specific function to help eliminate a bedbug infestation.
Kit Contents:
Essentria IC3 Concentrate (32 oz): An all natural concentrated liquid residual insecticide. When treating for bedbugs thoroughly clean and vacuum mattresses and springs prior to treatment. Mix Essentria IC3 at a rate of 1 to 4 ounces per gallon of water and apply as a spot treatment to cracks and crevices, around baseboards, floorboards, headboards, and walls. In hotels and other public lodging facilities pay special attention to luggage stands and the adjacent area. On mattresses and springs spot treat only areas that may harbor pests. Concentrate on tufts, seams, folds, and creases. Repeat as necessary. The finished solution should be applied with a one gallon hand sprayer as a coarse, low-pressure spray. Try to make direct contact with as many bedbugs as possible. This product will not kill Bedbug eggs.
***Do NOT apply to furniture surfaces or mattresses where people will be laying or sitting. Infested bedding should not be treated with insecticides, but should be removed, placed in sealed plastic bags, and taken for laundering and drying at high temperatures.***
CimeXa Dust (4 oz. bottle): Dusts are great for applying under baseboards around the room (this stops bedbugs from fleeing the room and spreading to other areas), for dusting on and inside the box spring itself, and for dusting in cracks and crevices where liquids may not go (such as in and behind picture frames, underneath furniture, in the cracks of dresser drawers, and in the joint cracks and hollow tubing of bed frames, etc). Dust is best applied with the hand duster that is included with your kit. Apply as a fine coating on surfaces, and do not over-dust. Leaving piles of dust will cause the insect to walk around the dust and not through it.
Bellows Hand Duster: The bellows hand duster included with this kit should be used to apply the dust to any cracks and crevices needed. By using the bellows hand duster you will be able to apply the correct amount of dust in the correct place.
2 Cans Essentria Bed Bug Broadcast Spray (17 oz each): Essentria Bed Bug Broadcase Spray comes in a convenient aerosol spray that may be sprayed on areas that other products can not. Essentria Aerosol may be used for spot treatments on mattresses, upholstered furniture, drawers, bed frames, carpeted areas, curtains. You may also use Essentria Aerosol to knock down fleeing bedbugs after initial treatment of other insecticides.
Step-by-Step Bed Bug Treatment Guide : Five pages with pictures and information on how and where to use every product in your kit.
Recommended Accessories:
One Gallon Sprayer - This kit comes with Essentria IC3 Insecticide and we strongly recommend that you purchase a one gallon sprayer if you do not already have one. This sprayer makes mixing and applying liquid insecticides much easier.
Bed Bug Mattress Cover / Box Spring Cover - Using a good quality bed bug proof mattress cover and box spring cover will allow you to protect and save your mattress and box spring from further infestation. The covers we sell are certified 100% bed bug bite proof and escape proof.

it worked ok
By Cassie on March 14, 2012These products seem to work ok, but we have only done the first treatment. There are still some bed bugs hanging around. we will see how it goes after the next treatment. The smell is not unpleasant but very very strong. My house still smells like peppermint a week later.

QIs it still recommended to retreat if a bed bug kit is used?
If I purchase the all natural bed bug kit and treat my home, will I still need to retreat 2-3 times or will 1 treatment eliminate the bugs completely?
AYou will need to do the retreaments no matter what pesticides you choose. This is due to the life cycle of the bedbugs and how long it takes the eggs to hatch out. You should continue to do the retreaments every 7-10 days until you are no longer recieving bedbug bites and there is no new evidence of bedbugs (blood smears, cast skins, feces) for at least 30 days)
