New Alpine Cockroach Gel Bait is the first roach gel labeled Reduced-Risk by the EPA, meaning the active ingredient is safer around people, pets and the environment, yet is tough on household roaches. In fact, roaches almost can't resist the bait formulation of Alpine, and once they feed on the bait they will transfer it to other roaches causing eventual death. Alpine Roach Gel will start killing roaches within hours after contact. Alpine even attracts bait-averse cockroaches. Labeled for use indoors and outdoors and even sensitive areas such as food-handling establishments, food and feed processing plants, hospitals and nursing homes.
We provide 1 Plunger PER ORDER to expel the bait from the tubes. You can purchase extra plungers or you can purchase a bait gun for use with this product.

Experience using Alpine Cockroach Gel Bait
By Susan on December 17, 2012
Verified PurchaseI saw Billy the Exterminator using this bait on his show. He highly recommended it. I live in the south and don't really have roaches living in my house, but have "water bugs" come in my house from outside. I got the bait and put it around the perimeter of my porch where they come in and haven't seen one since. It's very easy to use and I highly recommend it.

Verified PurchaseI'm an ex-PC operator and we used to do crack n crevice for severe infestations of Germans. I've used Avert, Pre-Empt, Maxforce (with hydra methylnon and Fipronil) which all worked well. Alpine works just as good. Roaches instantly drawn to the bait. Within 30 minutes they're walking fast and dying. I ordered a box to help a coworker who had them pretty bad. Of course he had them in the usual primary areas but they had also branched out into the bedrooms in the furniture and electronics. The roaches were instantly drawn to the bait. I would say it's the strongest attraction I've seen in gel bait out all that I've used (even faster than MaxforceFC). The only cons were that the bait keeps oozing so you have keep moving and applying. Also the bait dries a little faster than some previous baits. Otherwise I'm very impressed with this bait.

AAccording to the Alpine Roach Gel Bait product label "Apply gel in a 3 - 6 mm diameter spot (0.25 - 0.50 g). Approximately 10 spots per 100 ft2 are recommended for use under conditions with low to moderate infestation. For more severe infestations, approximately 20 spots per 100 ft2 are recommended. Apply many spots in areas of roach traffic and suspected harborage. Numerous small application spots are preferable to fewer larger application spots." Each spot of bait should be the size of a small pea. Each tube of bait gel is weighs about 30 grams.
April 11, 2011Carmen asked:
QWill Alpine Cockroach Gel Bait work for Palmetto bugs?
AAlpine Cockroach Gel Bait is known for its ability to attract even the most bait adverse roaches such as the American roach aka Palmetto bugs and should do a great job for you.
May 6, 2013Ben from Fresno, Ca asked:
QIs roach bait, such as the Alpine gel good to use in apartments where the roaches are coming from outside?
Will the bait attract more roaches, or will it keep them away as well?
AYes, Alpine Cockroach Gel Bait is a great roach gel bait. The roaches will come out pick up the bait and transfer the bait back in to the wall voids to where the other roaches are killing them. Please make sure to thoroughly clean and keep foods sealed, as not to deter the roaches from the bait. It will not keep them away, nor will attract more. Just make sure to clean kitchen of any greases, or other organic material.
