I am having problems with field mice, chipmunks and groundhogs in my yard. What should I be using?

I have a large yard and have many pests, but the mice, chipmunks and groundhogs seem to be doing the most damage. Is there a poison solution/solutions. I have bait stations and cross contamination is not a problem.

Answer:

Unfortunately there is not one solution for all of the pests you mentioned. There are no baits (poisons) on the market that are labeled for groundhogs or for chipmunks, and there are very limited baits available for field mice (aka voles). We recommend you read the following articles to learn more about eliminating these pests from your property: How to get rid of groundhogs, How to get rid of chipmunks, How to get rid of voles. Each of these articles will explain in detail what you can do to get rid of the pests you have now and how you can modify your property to make it less favorable to future pests.
