I am looking for something for the removal of crabgrass in ornamental plant beds?

screwed up, thought 'lawn' (mixed grasses & weeds) was dead by drought. Sparse new planting of ornamentals but weekly glyphosate spraying for 6 weeks getting old. Any product that will kill crabgrass roots better in areas where there is no lawn, especially areas w/just mulch? I can shield new plants if product doesn't travel far in the soil

Answer:

Acclaim Extra Selective Herbicide is a great commercial grade post emergent herbicide for crabgrass. To find out if it will be compatible with the ornamental beds you currently have and with your lawn, please refer to the product label.
