    No, there is nothing to open on the Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations, they are ready to use.  They are placed out hole side up wherever you are seeing the activity.

    Do you have to pierce the hole- the pic on box of Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations shows a yellow substance

    There is nothing to punch or open on the Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations, they are ready to use.  They are placed out hole side up wherever you are seeing the activity.  The yellow spot in the picture is just showing the hole in the top.

    The Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations 4 Pack are ready to use from the box. You should place them on a flat surface with the hole facing up.

    Can we store any unused Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations in the garage?
    Instructions says that it is ready to be used as is, but we used only 4 out 8. Is it safe to keep remaining ones in the home and use them later?

    According to the manufacturer, Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations (4 pack) can last up to two years on the shelf as long as they're stored in a cool dry place. We wouldn't recommend storing them in the garage because the temperatures can change and if there's ever any moisture in the garage, that could reduce the efficacy of the product. For continuous control, replace indoor stations after three months and outdoor stations after six weeks.

    Are the Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations effective?
    We sat one at our kitchen sink which is our problem area and the ants are all around it, but not even crawling on it. It has been out for 2 days now.

    The Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations have been discontinued.  We would suggest using an ant bait gel such as the Advion Ant Bait as an alternative.

    Can I use Amdro Kill Ants ant bait stations to kill ants in my bee hives?
    A

    We would not recommend placing Amdro Kills Ant Bait Stations directly on or in hives.  However it is unlikely that bees would be able to feed on the bait in these stations. A good solution for ants near hives would be to use refillable ant bait stations that do not allow access for the bees and still protect the bait from rainfall and debris, such as Ants No More Bait Stations or Antopia Bait Stations, with an ant bait of your choosing inside. A good sweet bait for these stations would be Green Way Liquid Ant Killing Bait.

    Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations can be used around pets if used as directed.  You would place them in areas where you see activity and typically out of reach of pets.

    Yes, Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations 4 pack have been discontinued by the manufacturer. We do have the Amdro Kills Ants Stakes - Ant Killing Bait available for purchase.

    Do I need to do anything to the trap to activate Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations or just deploy it?

    You will just place the Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations 4 pack where you see ants and then leave it. You do not need to do anything to the stations.

    Can I put Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations on countertop in kitchen?
    A

    We do not suggest placing Amdro Kills Ants Bait Stations 4 pack directly on top of the countertops. A better option would be to place them on the side or down low instead so you don’t have ants crawling on the countertop.
