Another question about pet-safe outside insecticides for flea control.

You say "Most labels state that all pets should be out of the area while you are applying the product and they can return to the area when it is dry." If it rains some days after the insecticide has been applied and has had time to dry, do the wet conditions again pose a hazard for pets until conditions are again dry?

Answer:

If it rains days after the application of the insecticide, no it does not pose a problem to your pets. The product needs to be down for at least 24 hours before it rains. If it rains right after the application, you will have a situation where the product could be washed away.
