You will want to follow any safety precautions each label specifies for protective equipment. As long as you are using the products according to the product labels they are very safe to use. Keep any pets and children out of the treated area until the products have dried. Once dry, it is completely safe to resume normal activity. If you are planning to spray around the eaves of your home, you will want to make sure goggles and a face mask are worn to avoid spray getting blown back on you, apply when there is no wind, and always apply at an angle if you cannot get even with the treated area. If your hand pump sprayer will not reach the upper areas around your home, you could try the Chapin Slide Pump Sprayer.
