    Q
Is it safe to use Bedlam Plus on a couch? Is putting a towel over area sprayed advisable?
    A
Bedlam Plus is specifically labeled for use on furniture. Apply to tufts, folds, edges, sides and seams until damp. Allow to dry before reuse. Do not spray the entire surface of the cushions or back as this is not necessary. As long as you follow the product label instructions you should not need to put anything over the treated areas. Please review the Bedlam Plus product label for complete usage instructions.

    Q
Does it continue to kill BB after it is dried?
Once you spray it on furniture or the edges of the apartment hardwood floors and cracks, it seems to dry quickly and fast and it never stays wet. How does it continue to kill Bed bugs and eggs the spray dies quickly? Or for continues killing, the dusts are better? I have 12 month old baby, so careful not to apply dusts which he could touch. Thanks
    A
Yes, New Bedlam Plus Aerosol is a residual, meaning that it will keep the insecticide on the surface sprayed and continue to kill the insects that come in contact with it. This particular aerosol does not have to stay wet in order for it to work properly. We do recommend using Cimexa dust inside the wall voids for long term treatment. You want to make sure you are not using too much dust. A thin layer is perfectly fine inside the wall voids. The bed bugs will walk across it and dry out over time. It does take longer to work than an aerosol insecticide.

    Q
Is Bedlam Plus safe for already encased mattress and boxspring protectors?
Hi is this product safe for beds already encased? I am currently using Saferest brand encasements. If this spray should come in contact with the encasement will it destroy the encasement (ie burn a hole in it or somehow destroy the zippers)?
    A
Bedlam Plus should not damage any fabric that water itself will not damage. The manufacturer has tested the product as many fabrics as possible and the product is not known to cause damage. We do recommend you spray a small inconspicuous area to test for staining as not every single fabric could feasibly be tested.

    Q
Can I apply Bedlam Plus Aerosol inside drawers?
Hi, I've been using Temprid SC as a crack and crevice spray but I just purchased Bedlam Plus from you also to treat mattress sides and bedframe, etc. I used Temprid on the INSIDE of my dressers, NOT the drawers (meaning, I removed all the drawers and sprayed a light spray on the back and bottom and drawer slides but NOT inside the actual drawers, the drawers themselves have not been treated with anything) and I read somewhere that Bedlam Plus might be safe to spray inside the drawers in the cracks of the drawer. I'm not sure if this is okay since it may come into contact with clean clothes. I would not be spraying the whole drawer soaking wet, but rather, just around the perimeter of the drawer insides, lightly, NOT across the inside of the whole drawer. Is this safe to do or should I not do this? Thanks!
    A
NEW Bedlam Plus Aerosol can be applied inside drawers to cracks and crevices. Re apply every 2 weeks as needed.

    Q
Do I need to wear a mask while applying Bedlam Plus?
    A

Per the product label for Bedlam Plus, the recommended protective equipment is as follows:  • Long sleeved shirt • Long pants • Shoes and socks • Chemical resistant gloves.  If you would feel more comfortable wearing a mask as well while applying the product, you can certainly do so.  Something as simple as a painters mask or one of our N95 Respirator Masks would be fine.

    Q
Is it safe to steam after an application of New Bedlam Plus?
I applied Bedlam plus to the cracks and crevices and seams on my sofa about four days ago. I then ordered a steamer because I was still getting bitten. How long do I need to wait before it's safe to use a steamer on the sofa? I have a Niosh approved dust mask for spraying that I can use while steaming.
    A

Once New Bedlam Plus is dry, it should be fine to steam, but we would highly recommend for you to steam before applying any type of insecticide. Please refer to our "How To Get Rid of Bed Bugs" article for a complete and step-to-step guide.

    Q
Is Bedlam Plus effective on lice?
The ingredients are very close to regular Bedlam which is effective on lice, I have already purchased it & hope so. Can it be sprayed all over the mattress protector and all over the carpet? Will it mess up a smoke alarm, and do I need to worry about the stove's pilots being on as I probably won't spray in the kitchen?
    A
No, Bedlam Plus is not labeled for lice. It is labeled to be sprayed on mattresses and on the carpet as well. Bedlam Plus should not affect your smoke alarm and the stove pilots will be unaffected as well. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Q
How long should you use Bedlam Plus Aerosol to get rid of bed bugs completely?
    A

Bedlam Plus Aerosol should be used every 2 weeks along with other products to more effectively eliminate bed bugs.  Treatments are done until you can go 30 days without being bitten or seeing evidence.  How many treatments you end up doing depends on the level of infestation, products used, and how consistent and thorough you are being with treatments. We have a great guide here that explains the complete treatment needed to eliminate them.

Bedlam Plus can be used in rooms where elderly sleep when used as directed on the product label which states:  In hospitals and nursing homes, remove patients from immediate area to be treated. Q
Can Bedlam Plus be used for roaches?
    A

Bedlam Plus Aerosol is not labeled for roaches.  Here is a link to a great article that really goes into depth in explaining a roach control program.  It can take several months to get rid of a large infestation. Infestations do not get large quickly and unfortunately they do not go away quickly either.  We would recommend starting with one of our Roach Control Kits to more effectively eliminate roaches.

    Q
How long is Bedlam Plus Aerosol effective?
    How often to spray ?
    A

Bedlam Plus Aerosol kills listed insects on contact and continues to work for up to 2 weeks. If you are treating bed bugs, then we recommend retreating at 10-14 day intervals until you have had 30 days without any signs of bed bugs. Temprid SC is one of the most popular liquid concentrates used for bed bugs treatments, but we also include everything that is recommended to use together in our Bed Bug Kits here. Please take a few moments to review our Bed Bug Treatment Guide for more tips, videos, and recommendations on how to implement a successful program.

    Q
How long does Bedlam take to kill a bedbug walking across once it has dried for a few days?
    A

How long it takes for Bedlam Plus Aerosol to kill a bedbug after contact depends on a few factors such as age and health of the bedbug, how soon after application they contact the area and how long they spend on the treated area.  It can take a few hours up to 24 or more to kill after contact with a treated area.
