Great Japanese Beetle trap
By Sam on July 6, 2010This product works, nuff said. Installed three around my property and had to empty them after only two weeks. Some of the Beetles still get to my roses, but I can live with that. At least I have blooms to enjoy. Before using the traps, the blooms were gone as soon as they started to open. I recommend this product to rose bush owners.

Beetle Bagger
By Norma on July 18, 2010
Verified PurchaseI don't care where the bugs come from - when they reach my yard they will be dead. Within an hour I had to change the bags, as the day progressed it took longer. Now once a day. I figure there are thousands or more bugs that will not breed and kill my garden and flowers next year. I told the ladies I exercise with that next year I expect a thank-you card from them, since they won't have as many beetles "bugging" then next year. Just to be on the safe side, I will be ordering more kits next year!

Japanese Beetles
By Norma on July 23, 2010
Verified PurchaseThe ease of use! I have told my neighbors that I've declared war on those pests. Next year I expect thank-you cards from them because of my beetle traps this year we will less of them the coming year. Because I know I've had a least a million of them die in the three traps I have on my property - I know many of those beetles came from their yards. A million less to breed means less beetles next year. In the spring I will set up my traps again to catch those I missed.

QWhat is the rubber thing for in the dual lure package?

July 2, 2012Kk asked:
QHow long does the Beetle Bagger Japanese Beetle Trap Dual Lure last?
How often will we need to change the lure?
AAccording to the Beetle Bagger Japanese Beetle Trap product label the Dual Lure will last all season and should not need to be replaced until the start of next season.
March 21, 2010Sue asked:
QCan the Beetle Bagger Japanese Beetle Trap be used in the house, specifically the kitchen?
ANo, you would not want to place the Beetle Bagger Japanese Beetle Trap Kit inside your home. The lure, or bait that is added to the trap that attracts the beetles, does have an odor, so you would not want the smell in your home. Also you would not want to place the trap in your home because you would attract beetles inside your home.
April 10, 2010Sheri asked:
QHow early do you put up the Beetle Baggers?
How early do you put up these bags? Last year was the first year I have ever seen them on my property. They did some nasty damage. I don't want to see that happen again this year. So, I want to make sure I get the jump on them.
AEach region of the country will differ on when the best time to use the traps. To figure out when the best time is in your region you should contact your local cooperative extension office. They have all of the information for your local pests and the best time to start treating for them.
