DESCRIPTION: Bifen LP Granules and Talstar PL Granules are used to control Ants (including Imported Fire Ants), roaches, spiders, fleas, ticks, worms, crickets, and almost all other insect pests on lawns, in landscaped areas and gardens, and perimeters of residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields. Bifen granules release chemical over time as it rains. One application of Bifen granules can protect your lawn areas for 2 to 3 months. It is safe against non-target animals such as birds, pets, and other mammals.

USE: Bifen LP Granular is generally used in two ways: It can be applied as a perimeter barrier directed in a five to ten foot band around your home, or it can be generally broadcast over your entire yard including landscaped areas. A normal application usually consists of three to five pounds of product. We recommend applying Bifen granules with a hand spreader. One 25lb. bag of Bifen covers 5,000-10,000 square feet. Always read the label.

FOR CONTROL OF SCORPIONS:
To ensure optimum control, treat the building perimeter with bifenthrin granules at dusk to prevent outdoor scorpions from entering the building. Scorpions reside hidden in cracks and voids during the day and are active at night at temperatures above 77ºF/25ºC. Resting areas can be identified at night using a blacklight (UV bulb) as scorpions will fluoresce. These areas should also be treated. Prior to treatment, to increase treatment efficacy, remove trash, debris, or firewood that scorpions may use as resting sites.

Q  Will the Bifen Granules treat for Springtails in the whole lawn? Will my lawn be safe for kids to run and play on couple days after the application? A Bifen Granules recently had a product label change and the new label no longer lists springtails as a target pest. We recommend Cyonara Granules to control springtails and they can be used as a perimeter application or over your entire lawn. Children can safely return to the treated area after it is completely dry.
