  • Asked by Paulla from Ajo, Az
    04/17/2014
    Q
I live in AZ and have all kinds of ground weeds in desert sand and rocks. Can I use Ground Force to kill all..
weeds. I have a palm tree in the middle of my front yard I don't want to hurt though.
    A
Bonide Ground Force Vegetation Killer is a soil sterilant and could potentially harm the tree if applied too closely.  You could use any Glyphosate product like GlyPhoSel to kill any and all weeds and grasses that might come up through the rocks. You can spray it as often as needed to get the control you need, it does not remain in the soil and will only kill what you apply it to.

  • Asked by Clarence from San Antonio, Tx

    Q
Does ground force migrate away from sprayed area and is it toxic to fish if accidentally over-sprayed on water?
I work in a water treatment plant would like to treat areas around structures
    A

Bonide Ground Force Vegetation Killer should not be used near bodies of water as it can be toxic so you should avoid drift/overspray to contact these areas. There can be some movement on soil surfaces that may damage to desirable plants down slope so it should not be applied to slopes.

    Q
How long after applying Bonide Ground Force Vegetation Killer before results are visible?
    A

Re-treatment every 6 to 8 months may be necessary in areas of heavy rainfall.
