Can I use Bonide Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer where pets walk? Will the dried residue absorb into my dogs feet?

As long as you keep the animals out of the areas while treaing and until the Bonide Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer is dry, it will be safe for your pets. The dried residue will be bonded to the surface that you have sprayed and should not adhere to your dogs feet.

Is it safe to use Bonide Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer in areas where food is stored?
A

Bonide Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer can be applied to areas of storage such as pantries, etc. per the product label instructions. You will want to remove or cover any exposed food, cover food handling surfaces and utensils and wash them thoroughly after treatment with the product.

Does Bonide Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer come in a bomb spray?

Bonide Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer is not available as a fogger or “bomb” and that type of application would not be effective for carpenter ants or termite activity in wood as they only kill what is out in the open at the time you fog.  Please review our Termite Control or Carpenter Ant Control page to learn more about controlling termites and protecting your home with professional grade products.

Can Bonide Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer be used on firewood and used after?

Bonide Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer is not labeled nor recommended to be applied to firewood. Any insecticide should not be breathed in, and when burned these toxins can become airborne. It would be suggested to not burn the wood.

Do you have to leave the house after using Bonide Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer?

When using

Bonide Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer you should leave the treated areas until they have completely dried. Once they have dried it is safe to return.
