Boracare Wall Void Foaming

I'm preparing to foam the wall voids of my home with boracare and profoam to prevent future subterranean termites infestations. I'll use a 2:1 ratio and a foamer comparable to your poly foamer. 1. How high should I drill the hole between each stud? 2. Should I drill a single hole in the center between the studs or should I drill multiple holes between each stud? 3. How much foam should I dispense between each stud and how do I gauge the proper amount of foam? 4. Are there any differences in application techniques between walls insulated with fiberglass batting and non-insulated walls?

Answer:

Drill holes every 18-24 inches adjacent to the side of each stud and inject at least 1/3 fluid ounce of Bora-Care solution per hole. You will be drilling multiple holes on the side of each stud. Drill at least one hole per stud bay near the floor to treat the base plate in each void. There are no differences between the applications in the different walls. The foam will expand inside and wall and kill the termites. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
