Can Altriset be safely used inside a crawl space? It is represented as an exterior product.

I am working with a friend. We have an active infestation of eastern subterranean termites. The crawl is very low but mostly accessible, and includes two large stumps that were not removed prior to construction. The floor of the crawl is sand over clay. Wood damage is evident in the hot spot in the house above. I'd like to apply the Altriset inside the crawl space, specifically treating all joists and the stumps as well as the sandy '"floor" of the crawl. I do realize from its video that Altriset can be applied in a trench around the building after dilution. Is it safe for interior use or crawlspace use?

Answer:

Altriset as well as all other termite products are intended for use around the outside of the home as well as underneath the home.  When a termiticide says that not for use inside the home, it means you cannot spray it inside around baseboards, window sills, and other places like you would a pest control spray.  Termiticides are not pest control sprays.  The crawl space under the house is not considered the inside actually because it is not the living space, so they intended for use under the house.
