We just moved into our new house, and I found carpet beetle everywhere. Can I use Cyonara 9.7 on the carpet? We do have 2 small dogs in the house. Is it safe if they lick the carpet after the application?
Cyonara is labeled to be used as a crack and crevice treatment only. You should use Onslaught insecticide if you would like to do a broadcast treatment over the carpeted areas. You should also note that daily vacuuming will help to remove many of the adult beetles along with the larvae. You should thoroughly inspect the house to find where the source of the infestation is actually located. Failing to get rid of the source of the infestation will lead to treatment failure.
