Can Criterion 75 WSP Systemic Insecticide be mixed with water to inject ash trees and oak trees for borers?

How much of dry powder to how much water?

Answer:

Criterion 75 WSP Systemic Insecticide may be used as a systemic treatment for many types of borers, however the product label does not allow for injection into the tree itself, only into the soil. To inject insecticide into a tree, you will need to drill into the tree, most likely making it even more vulnerable to insect and disease damage. Each envelope of Criterion 75 WSP contains 4 water-soluble packets which are usually mixed with 25-100 gallons of water, depending on your application. For smaller applications, you can use a similar product with the same active ingredient in a liquid form, such as Adonis 2F.
