Can I use the Cy Kick CS in the Fogmaster Jr 5330 to fog under a cabin crawl space to control scorpion infestation?
Cy Kick CS per the product label can not be used in any type of cold or hot fogging device. Using it that way would either alter the effectiveness or clog/break your fogging unit. The Cy Kick CS is definitely the right product to use for scorpion control, however fogging would not be an accurate treatment option for this type of pest even if this product could be used in that application. Spraying under the crawlspace on every area you can reach would be the best way to control the scorpions, as well as creating a barrier around the foundation of the structure to prevent new ones from coming in. When spraying around the home/building for scorpions you will want to create a barrier 2-3 feet up on the side of the structure, and 6-10 feet out on the ground from the foundation. Since scorpions have such thick exoskeletons it takes more treated surface area for them to cross for the product to affect them. Also, try to eliminate any area around the home that create prime grounds for scorpions to thrive. The Cy Kick will not only eliminate the scorpions, but also the insects that they are feeding on as well which will push them to find food sources elsewhere.
