Can Dominion be used as a perimeter treatment for fire ants. If so what is the mixing rate.
Dominion 2L does kill ants. The product is specifically designed to be a non-repellent which means the ants will not be able to tell that it is there and will readily walk through treated areas. The product is also designed to have a delayed reaction kill which allows the ants to get back to the colony and spread the insecticide to the other ants before they start to feel the effect of the product. You should see the full effect of using Dominion 2L within 1-3 weeks when you are using as recommended on the product label. The mixing rate is .6 fl oz Dominion to 1 gallon water.
