Dan from Bellevue Ne writes

Can it be used for spraying carpet cleaning chemicals?

Answer:

The tanks will not hold up to bleach, ammonia or any acidic product like that. If it is a water based carpet cleaning product without any of those other chemicals in it, then it should be fine. You should be aware that if you use bleach, it will void any warranty on the sprayer from any manufacturer defects. The carpet cleaning products normally carry a chemical in them that is a “fabric protector” and this chemical can sometimes cause the hoses on the tanks to become less flexible and brittle. There is a B&G sprayer that is specifically recommended or Carpet Cleaning products, B&G PC#11003701 and it costs about $350.00. If you are interested in purchasing this item please let us know.
