Can products be mixed in same water tank or will they become ineffective/dangerous if mixed? If some, but not all three can be combined - which combinations would work?
We do not see a problem in mixing these products all in the same tank as they are all for different uses and different modes of action and ingredients. You will need to do a tank mix compatibility test to make sure no clumping or discoloring occurs from this chemical mixture before using. Always follow the the label with the most strict application rules and limits. Tank Mix Instructions (per the Honor Guard Label) Fill the spray tank 1/2 to 3/4 full with water. Add the proper amount of Honor Guard PPZ and then add the rest of the water. Provide sufficient agitation during mixing and application to maintain a uniform emulsion. If Honor Guard PPZ is tank mixed with other products, use the following sequence: 1. Always check the compatibility of the tank mix using a jar test with proportionate amounts of Honor Guard PPZ, other chemicals to be used, and the water, before mixing in the spray tank. 2. Provide sufficient jet or mechanical agitation during filling and application to keep the tank mix uniformly suspended. 3. Fill tank at least 1/2 full of clean water. 4. Add wettable powders to the tank first, allowing them to completely suspend in the tank before proceeding. This process can be hastened by premixing the product in water before adding to the tank. 5. Add flowables or suspensions next. 6. Add Honor Guard PPZ next. 7. Add emulsifiable concentrates last. 8. Do not leave tank mix combinations in the spray tank for prolonged periods without agitation. Mix and apply them the same day.
