Can I mop after a Precor application?

All of the floors in my house are hardwood. Since we do not have any carpet, I think the fleas are in the cracks between the floor boards. Will mopping remove the Precor, or will there still be enough left in the cracks to work? I would rather not wait months to mop the floor again, but if it means getting rid of the fleas, I can deal with it.

Answer:

You should thoroughly vacuum the hard floor before applying Precor (mixed with an insecticide labeled for indoor flea applications, such as Onslaught) paying special attention to all cracks and crevices. This will help remove a great deal of the flea eggs, pupae and the debris they can develop in. Mopping can be done before the application and you should wait to mop for about two weeks after the application. Please test the Precor on an inconspicuous area of the floor to be sure it does not mar the finish.
