Can one use more than 1 gallon water per 1000 sq ft with Tenacity?

The Tenacity label calls for 1 gallon of water per 1000 square foot 1/2 teaspoon of product. Is it OK to increase the water to insure even application with a hand sprayer?

We would not recommend to apply Tenacity at a rate more than the product label instructs. Please contact the manufacturer Syngenta 866-796-4368 for a positive answer to your question.
