Can Pyrocide 300 be used on house plants to eliminate spider mites?

Can this product be applied to houseplants if applied outdoors or in a ventilated place? In other words will it harm plants, the leaves ,etc.? Also, Pyrethrum is commonly used to control spider mites. However, I do not see spider mites on the list of critters it kills, but as far as I know pyrethrum kills spider mites better than anything else. So why aren't spider mites listed? Will it kill them efficiently or not?

Answer:

Pyrocide 300 is not labeled for use on houseplants or for spider mites and has not been tested for the type of application you are considering. We recommend that you select a product that is specifically labeled for spider mites on plants. Riptide is labeled for spider mites and for use on plants and would be a good choice for you. You could also use Fertilome Red Spider and Mite Spray on houseplants. This is a Ready-to-Use product which you could use on the plants as needed.
