Can a slip resistant additive be used in the Chapin Concrete Sprayer 3.5 Gallon and still flow through the tips provided? What product would be recommended to clean the solvent based sealer after using the sprayer?

Answer:

According to Chapin, you cannot use a slip resistant additive in the Chapin Concrete Sprayer 3.5 Gal (1949) due to the additive clogging the tips. Solvent base products are not able to be used in the Chapin Concrete Sprayer 3.5 Gal (1949), and the only cleaning method is to rinse thoroughly with water after use. The Extreme Chapin Concrete Sprayers (19049 & 190690) can be cleaned with Xylene and followed up with thoroughly rinsing with water.
