Can I spray Suspend SC on firewood used for cooking?

Fungus gnats are all over the wood we store outside our restaurant that we cook with. Will spraying Suspend on the wood be harmful since we cook with it?

Suspend SC is NOT labeled for treating wood that will be used for burning/cooking.
