Talstar P can be applied with an IGR (insect growth regulator). It is safe for pets as long as they remain out of the area during treatment and return only when the surfaces have dried completely. It should not be applied where there are grazing animals such as cattle. It is labeled for ticks and fleas outside and offers a 30 day outdoor residual. For best results, allow 24 hours after outdoor application before expected rainfall.
