Talstar Xtra Granules cannot be used around a fruit tree or vegetable garden but can safely be used in a flower garden. For frui trees and vegetable gardens you can use a product such as Sevin Granules for insect control. As long as you keep the product away from the dripline of the tree you should be able to use the Talstar Xtra granules safely around the fruit tree.
