Can Temprid SC be used in a hand held propane fogger?

We have old fashioned ceiling tiles, the kind with hundreds of little "holes" crevices and such. We have caulked every thing in sight, bleached walls down, steamed, used: Demand, Gentrol, Phantom, Raid for Bed Bugs, bed bug fogger (early on... and found out the hard way they don't work), and Dusted. We soon realized the ceilings had to be infested. Whenever we would be sitting in one place, they would drop down from the ceiling and start biting away. We called in a well know exterminator service to knock these things out. They came in, supposedly treated... using 3 (THREE) ounces of Phantom spray and dusted two of the four bedrooms. They claimed they didn't see any evidence of bed bugs though. We provided several tape specimens which they agreed were bed bugs. We told/showed them where they were caught and seen. We didn't have the money to hire an exterminator, so we financed the services. Here we are, over $2,000 spent to eliminate these things and treatment didn't seem to make a dent. We came back to DoMyOwn and purchased Temprid. This HAS made a difference. We know the ceiling is still harboring them due to all the perfect hiding and gripping aspects. We need something we can use to cover these areas. Since we have seen such great results with Temprid (in spray cans), we would like to use a hand fogger to apply Temprid SC to the ceilings. Will the fogger affect the Temprid in any way or make it ineffective? How would we mix to use in fogger?

Answer:

No, Temprid SC is not labeled to be applied in a fogger. Temprid SC can be used indoors as a spot treatment or as a void injection by mist, foam, or crack and crevice spray, and outdoors as a perimeter treatment, general surface spray, or foliar application to established landscape ornamentals. Always read the product label completely before use. Foggers are not recommended for bedbugs. Bedbugs hide directly in cracks and crevices, foggers meanwhile only go straight up in the air and then come straight down onto to surfaces. Foggers do not penetrate into cracks and crevices where bedbugs harbor. The key to bedbug elimination is good quality products and thorough treatments. You will want to use Temprid through a hand pump sprayer to more effectively treat the ceiling's cracks and crevices.
