Can you mix D-Fense SC with paint to spray inside manhole covers?

I found a product online with the same active ingredient that can me mixed with paint. I also read another article where they spray an insecticide mixed with latex paint inside manhole covers in Phoenix to cut down the roach population. This would be to cut down on roaches coming into a commercial building.
