Can you mix Permethrin SFR with Talstar P for added residual?

This is mainly to treat for mosquitoes.

Answer:

No, Permethrin SFR and Talstar P are both pyrethroid based insecticides that have about the same 3 to 4 week residual outdoors. Therefore, there would be no benefit to mix these two insecticides together in a tank mixture. If you'd like a longer lasting insecticide for outdoor control we recommend that you consider a micro-encapsulated insecticide such as Cy Kick CS or an oil based insecticide such as Demon Max. Cy Kick CS will provide you with a full 90 day killing power outdoors.
