Sarah from Paxton, Ma writes

Can you plant a vegetable garden in the vicinity where Tempo has been previously sprayed?

We sprayed Tempo SC about 6 weeks ago on the perimeter of our garage (about 12" out around the base area). We would like to plant a vegetable garden in this same area, not beginning until past the 12" perimeter spray, but extending out from that spray zone. Is it safe to do so at this point, will whatever residual is left have an effect on new vegetable plant root systems, making them not safe to eat?

Answer:

You should not plant any vegetables that come into contact with Tempo SC Ultra. We do not recommend treating within such a close proximity to the plants. Applications should be kept far enough away from the plants as to avoid contact with the foliage, and with the root system.
