Vonnie from Russellville, Alabama writes

Can you use Eraser in the winter? Is it recommended to use when rain is expected?

I bought a 2 1/2 gallon container of Erase. I moved before I used the entire contents and the label got torn off and lost. I found the amount of Eraser to use but not when or where. Thanks.

Answer:

If the grass is completely 100% for sure dormant you should be able to treat any actively growing weeds with Eraser. Weeds that are cold or water stressed can be very hard to kill with any product because they are not absorbing the water used to carry the product. If you are not positive that your grass is still 100% dormant we advise that you spot treat the weeds only with Eraser. The product has a three year shelf life if stored away from extreme temperatures. Below are the Eraser mixing instructions: Use 1 1/3 oz per gallon of water to control most annual weeds; use 2 2/3 oz to control tougher or hard to kill perennial weeds. Refer to product label for complete use instructions. Eraser Product Label
