Carpenter Ants

I demolished a wooden side porch about four weeks ago; as it was deteriorating from age and a lot of help from carpenter ants. I killed tons of them with Malathion, it was all I had. Some packed up and moved to my front entry...how convenient of me. This is a stone face wall against a wooden frame. I believe they found several entry areas in the wall and have made it to the interior (or exterior) wall. I used granulated Terro around my surface areas, but still see them on that wall, some are now entering the house; I want something better please? I have an indoor cat I'm concerned about.

Answer:

For carpenter ants, I recommend using Bifen I/T for indoor and outdoor use. For this product, it is safe once it's dry. Your cat should not be inside while you are spraying.   We also have the Complete Ant Kit as well that is amazing for ants. It comes with a granular bait, sugar bait and bait stations.
