I had a severe carpenter bee infestation at my home. I spent not even one hour treating with this kit. The bulb duster worked great to get the holes that the bees made behind my gutter in the wooden facia. The bees are all gone and it seemed almost too easy.

I was infested beyond control with carpenter bees. I purchased the Cyonara 9.7 bee kit, and it worked great. Killed the bees, the larva, and allowed me to enjoy outside on the porch as well as my gazebo without a constant munching and buzzing of bees. I recommend this product for anyone struggling as I was.

This product is fantastic, I must admit at first glance I was a bit skeptical to say the least, the name alone would lead you to believe it may be just hype. No hype just great results. I have a 100% cedar home which has been a resort for bees and insects alike in the past. One treatment of Cyonara 9.7 and the pests are all but gone. Again a fantastic product.

If you have carpenter bees this is the kit to buy.  I tried everything at the Home Depot, nothing worked.  This kit did the trick.  Bees were laying on the ground belly up and dead.  A plus is that the Cyonara knocks out the ants and other insects.  The duster reaches up behind gutters were the bees drill holes.

The dust will kill bees that are in the hole and that have been direct contact with the dust. Dust doesn't seems to be killing any bees that enter the holes after initial dusting. The cyonara does nt appear to be preventing the bees from drilling new holes. The cyonara repels the bees for a day for so but then they are right back at it. I'm still using the products trying control my carpenter bee issue. I will update posting if things seems change.

I live in a log home. I didn'y know my home would be on the menu for bee's when i bought it. With the use of "D-Fense Dust" and "Cyonara 9.7" , i can control the carpenter bee. The dust is applied directly into the 1/2" hole the bee puts in the sofett and then a "plug" is put into the hole. The "Cyonara 9.7" is applied with a sprayer directly to the wood surface to prevent the bees from making new holes.

I recently puchased a log cabin and house had a lot of current and old Capenter Bee damage. I called an exterminator and they wanted $300 to treat the cabin for Carpenter bees. I then purchased this kit from Domyownpestcontrol.com. I treated all of the holes(close to 100) with duster and the bees were going in the holes and coming out of them white with dust all over them. I also sprayed that same day and went back to the house 3 days later and not sign of anymore bees. I also have enough product left to treat the house a couple more times. It took me about an hour to treat the house.

For established carpenter bees the liquid spray didn't do much. The powder, however, worked well when sprayed into the holes made in wood by the bees. They did come back, however, and thus we found it necessary to put the plastic inserts into the holes as well. To be sure, we also covered the inserts with caulking.

Used on 2 bay garage, only a couple bees seen hovering after using products, seem to not be landing. Not sure how long residual action will be. The product is concentrated, so it seems like it'll go pretty far. The only minor complaints, the plastic plugs for the holes are a bit small, sort of useless. I used some steel wool in the holes for now, since bees can't chew through it. I wish there were more detailed instructions for the duster. I need to kind of shake it to suspend the powder, and squeeze it quickly in the hole to get a decent amount to come out. Otherwise, the products are working well

This KIT complete with D-fense dust, duster, and Cyonara 9.7 residual liquid was THE TICKET to the problem. Bee's were visibly "dropping like flies" over the weekend of the treatment and beyond. I would reccommend this to any/all suffer with a carpenter bee problem. Truth be told, I was skeptical at first, but if I did not see the results myself, I wouldn't write it here. No question, THIS STUFF W-O-R-K-S!

I bought a house that had about 14 different holes where carpenter bees where living. They had made these little holes in the wood under the gutters and I could hear them eating away at the house. I filled up the bulb blower with the dust and went to town. The blower comes with a small tip that you can stuff right down the holes to get the dust down deep. The dust won't kill them instantly so be prepare because you will hear some pissed bees inside the holes. You will see a couple fly around after with the white powder on them. A day or two later and I have only seen one bee flying around but a bunch dead on the ground. I haven't used the spray because is was late June and any new bees where not going to be coming around. I plan on using the spray next year. I will try the plugs on the holes in late September when I know all the baby bees have hatched and walked through the powder and left to die.

After 3-years of battleing carpenter bee's I tried the "Carpenter Bee Kit with Cyonara 9.7". Two applications in three days and I have not seen a single bee in weeks now. I gave this 5-stars well deserved!!

Every year we have been plaged with Carpenter bees - as if their activity around the new nesting holes was not bad enough, there was the certain knowledge that the woodpeckers would soon follow to drill unsightly holes in our house trim - causing us to have to replace yet another damaged area. We had some Termidor SC from our last purchase from DoMyOwnPestControl.com, so we sprayed the active areas with that and quickly ordered the Carpenter bee kit. I have been using the product for three weeks. I have to say, I don't know for sure how effective the product is. After powering the carpenter bee holes two times, the bees were still coming and going. The product may take time or these were new bees. I just don't know. We did power the holes during the peak of the flowering season, which means we had more bees than normal. I have now powered the holes three times, and I am waiting for warm dry weather to see if this works. It would be helpful if the packaging came with additional kit instructions, explaining the purpose of the additional nozzles, getting started, and clean up suggestions.

have not had the chance to add the dust to the infestation site yet but the spray worked GREAT***** definately does the job within minutes the bees that came in contact with the spray made them come out of there holes and few more minutes they were dead..... AWSOME PRODUCT

This has worked great so far and I haven't even gotten to the point of using the spray or the plugs yet!  A couple of dustings with Delta dust has done the trick and I'll be following it up soon with a preventative spray.  The duster bulb is very impressive.  Sturdy, easy to use, and very high quality.  It's nice not to have these giant bees chasing me out of my raised garden every day!

Have dealt with carpenter bees for the past several years. Used all the big box stuff with limited success. This kit gives you all you need for immediate results. The duster is a little cumbersome to use but gets the job done. Another great product. Thanks.

I was very happy with the kit. I have used the spray and the duster. Both seemed to work very good. The bees came out of the holes white after dusting and died. The others seemed to stay away from the cabin after I sprayed. The duster was easy to work with and the Cyonara mixed easily in my 1 gallon sprayer.

We really appreciated the speedy shipping but are even more impressed with the results of the products. When we bought our house it was infested with carpenter bees. One treatment did the trick and the spray has kept any new comer from hanging around. We are very happy with the results of the product and the service provided by Do My Own Pest Control. Moreover, we've save hundreds of dollars by doing ourselves!

So far it was easy to use. Need to wait a couple months to see if the Spring treatment was successful. Reading the literature for the liquid treatment, it looks like a good treatment for many insects outside the home. Have sprayed the perimeter of the house with it. Received more than enough chemical to last for several years. We must have healthier bees here because the holes look two large for the plugs provided.

I recently built a new home with wood siding and wood porches and decks. We had a problem with carpenter bees in a covered patio area of our existing home and a friend tried to persuade me not to use wood siding, since he was having a serious problem with carpenter bees. I noticed this spring that our resident bees were changing residence from the old home to our new porch and deck framing. I purchased the Carpenter Bee Kit from DoMyOwnPestControl and followed the instructions in appling the dust in the bee holes in the wood framing and treated the porch framing with the Cyonara 9.7 three days ago and I have already noticed a reduction of bee activity around the porch and deck areas.

We have a cedar house and the carpenter bees were eating it up. We received your product, sprayed the house with it and it is unbelievable. Even if the bees swarm around it still, they will not get near the wood.

This prduct is fantastic. Have been trying for five years using many products trying to rid ourselves of these pesky, annoying carpenter bees. Within three days of using the spray almost all of the bee activity had stopped. There were a few strays still residing in the holes already formed. Just used the dust in these holes and am sure this will halt all activity.

Using these two products together seems to have largely eliminated the problem of carpenter bees. We have a long wood deck that backs up into a forest. From April to August, it was hard to be on the deck as there would be typically a dozen or more males defending "their" territory while females chomped away on the structure. After one application of both products, I have only seen one lone female buzzing the deck looking for a place to start chewing, but then flies away. So we will see how this plays out over time. Also you use so little product for a large application that the bottle in the kit will last for many seasons.

received my package in two days ...excellent started with the spay and it knocked the swarming bees down needed a couple of applications of the spray but appears to be very effective ...I'm in the process of dusting all the holes but so far so good I would definitely buy this product again from DMOPC
