CB D-Foam Residual with Deltamethrin is a pre-mixed, ready-to use formula with unprecedented expansion rates intended to kill above ground infestations of Termites, Carpenter Ants and Carpenter Bees, and a broad spectrum of other crawling pests. D-Foam is easy to use with no special equipment required, and expands at a 60:1 ratio (nearly twice the expansion of other foams) to fill difficult to treat termite galleries & wall voids for optimal control. D-Foam with Deltamethrin delivers a stream of long-term residual control of termites and other wood destroying insects for up to 8 weeks. The active ingredient Deltamethrin is a synthetic insecticide derived from naturally-occurring pyrethrins, which rapidly paralyze the insect nervous system upon contact or ingestion, giving a quick knockdown effect. Pyrethrins are safe, odorless, and have very broad spectrum control. Deltamethrin is considered the most powerful of the synthetic pyrethroids. To use D-Foam with Deltamethrin, hold container upright and remove protective cap. Direct injector into crack and crevice or void where termite galleries or other insect harborages are suspected. Press button down and apply as directed on the product label. D-Foam should always be shaken well before each use. This product is also authorized for use in food areas as well as a crack and crevice foam application. 20 oz. can.

Great Product
By Annette on May 4, 2010
Verified PurchaseI have a problem with wood bees on my front porch drilling holes in my wood beams and tried this product one year. It's great and gets rid of those pesky hole drillers. This is my second year purchasing this item because last year it worked wonders. Sprayed all their holes and sealed them up. Also, I used to get a lot of spider webs around the windows, not anymore! Now I spray around the windows and practically most of them are gone.
Wow!

Verified PurchaseFinally something that works on bees. They had built a hive under the 4' x 8' sheets of siding on the north side of the house. We tried a variety of things for several years. Nothing else seemed to work. This stuff does. The bees are very persistent. They are now working at the weep holes in the brick below the siding. One shot of this stuff kills the bees in the weep holes.
This product works!

Verified PurchaseI had a problem with carpenter bees getting into the wood on my deck. I sprayed the foam into the holes and have seen results immediately. I like the mini straw applicator which allows you to get inside the holes to reach the bee larvae. Would recommend this product.
good stuff
By Rob on May 15, 2012Used the cb d foam and got rid of the Carpenter Bees for a few weeks. They did return and used the foam again. Works but I am not sure for how long. Easy to use just spray in holes and creates a foam.
Doesn't work for Wood Bees
By Leigh on May 30, 2012Unfortunately, this product didn't work well at all. I sprayed it as directed and it did stop the bees from entering for about 15 minutes until the foam went away. I repeated the process 4 or 5 times with no success.
DO NOT BUY
By John on June 15, 2012The first can was damaged and so was the second. I think this is more of a manufacturer problem then DOMYOWNPESTCONTROL. The nozzle is VERY CHEAP. I got a less expensive, similiar product at Home Depot with a VERY HIGH quality nozzle. I DID receive a refund from DOMYOWNPESTCONTROL!
Very good product
By Orlando on August 29, 2012Like this product if you don't want to spray the smelling stuff one just need to keep applying everywhere there is a small crack for couples of days
D-Foam
By Dave on February 11, 2013
Verified PurchaseThe foam is the right consistency to go into places and stay there. I like that it does not blow about like D. dust. Shipping was quick and well packed. Nozzle makes it easy to use inside a wall, just drill about a 1/4" hole so you can move it around a bit and patch the hole when you're done.

QCan CB D-Foam be sprayed in carpenter bee holes where the bees are now & no further action needed?
I have never used anything to treat the carpenter bees. This year they are really bad swarming on the deck. I have inside dogs & a cat that like to lay on the deck. Would this be safe for them or is there something else? I am not one that wants to plug holes. I would like to spray something & be done is there such a thing? thanks
AYou can use CB D-Foam in the holes to eliminate the bees and larva that are currently present. This treatment will not stop future bees from entering the abandoned holes and it will not stop new carpenter bees from drilling new holes. CB D-Foam will not harm your animals when used in enclosed holes. While there is not a product that will stop all of future carpenter bee activity you can use the products that come in our Carpenter Bee Kit to control them for the season. The Carpenter Bee Kit with Cyonara 9.7 provides a complete carpenter bee control solution for your home. The Delta Dust with the Centrobulb duster allows you to dust in existing carpenter bee holes, and 20 x 3/8 inch plugs to stop up the holes. In addition, the Cyonara 9.7 will make about 20 gallons of finished solution which can be sprayed on target surfaces to prevent further infestation. Cyonara must be applied with a 1 or 2 gallon pressurized sprayer

QCan CB D-Foam be used on termites?
We have already ordered your Termidor SC product, but my brother in law already had this product for me to use. They are flying in from a hole in my wall, so I just want to use something temporary until I receive the Termidor SC.
AWe would not suggest using CB-D Foam because although CB D-Foam will kill termites, it will kill them on contact and could make them go somewhere else in your house. The reason Termidor SC is the best product is because it does not kill termites right away and will let them take the product back to the colony and kill the colony at the source, which CB D-Foam will not. Although the instinct is to spray something now, termites eat very slowly and cannot cause any more damage than they already have over the next month. It would be advised to cover the hole in the wall with tape or something and then apply Termidor SC around the home and in the wall void instead. Otherwise, you defeat the purpose of using Termidor SC at all.

QCan CB D-Foam be used to kill and control cave crickets?
we will get cave (camel) crickets sometime in July, Aug., or Sept.. Last year I caught (killed) over 75 of these creatures in my basement and playroom with sticky stuff.
I would like to rid them before they infiltrate into living areas. i used niban fg bait last year with little effect.
ACB-D foam probably would not be the best choice for cricket control because of the small number of places where it can be applied. You should consider using a product such as D-Force HPX in all the cracks and crevices around the perimeter of the room indoors including door frames, window frames and places where pipes, wires or cables enter through the walls. Outdoors you can use a product called Essentria IC3 to spray the same kind of areas you sprayed indoors (window frames, door frames, places where cables, pipes or wires enter into the structure) and any other crack or crevice where the crickets may be able to gain entry and you can also spray all around the base of your foundation and out onto the ground to help eliminate the crickets before they come close to your home.
October 28, 2012Cindy from Fountain Valley, Ca asked:
QIs this product safe to spray in the cracks between kitchen pantry shelves?
AYou can apply D-Foam directly into the cracks in crevices in the kitchen pantry. You must remove all food and dishes prior to the application and you should clean up any over-spray before putting food and dishes back.
