    Q
Can CB D-Foam be sprayed in carpenter bee holes where the bees are now & no further action needed?
I have never used anything to treat the carpenter bees. This year they are really bad swarming on the deck. I have inside dogs & a cat that like to lay on the deck. Would this be safe for them or is there something else? I am not one that wants to plug holes. I would like to spray something & be done is there such a thing? thanks
    A
You can use CB D-Foam in the holes to eliminate the bees and larva that are currently present. This treatment will not stop future bees from entering the abandoned holes and it will not stop new carpenter bees from drilling new holes. CB D-Foam will not harm your animals when used in enclosed holes. While there is not a product that will stop all of future carpenter bee activity you can use the products that come in our Carpenter Bee Kit to control them for the season. The Carpenter Bee Kit with Cyonara 9.7 provides a complete carpenter bee control solution for your home. The Delta Dust with the Centrobulb duster allows you to dust in existing carpenter bee holes, and 20 x 3/8 inch plugs to stop up the holes. In addition, the Cyonara 9.7 will make about 20 gallons of finished solution which can be sprayed on target surfaces to prevent further infestation. Cyonara must be applied with a 1 or 2 gallon pressurized sprayer

    Q
    Is this safe for bathtubs?
I have gnats nesting in the jets inside my jacuzzi tub. Is this safe to spray in the jets and in my drains? (I have a private septic tank).
    A
CB D-Foam would not want to be used in the jacuzzi jets. These flies are attracked to sludge and organic matter that can build up in the jets. In order to eradicate and prevent these gnats, you want to purge the jets frequently. Please read the manufacturers manual as to what products to use to clean the jets.

    Q
Can CB D-Foam be used on termites?
We have already ordered your Termidor SC product, but my brother in law already had this product for me to use. They are flying in from a hole in my wall, so I just want to use something temporary until I receive the Termidor SC.
    A
We would not suggest using CB-D Foam because although CB D-Foam will kill termites, it will kill them on contact and could make them go somewhere else in your house.  The reason Termidor SC is the best product is because it does not kill termites right away and will let them take the product back to the colony and kill the colony at the source, which CB D-Foam will not.  Although the instinct is to spray something now, termites eat very slowly and cannot cause any more damage than they already have over the next month.  It would be advised to cover the hole in the wall with tape or something and then apply Termidor SC around the home and in the wall void instead.  Otherwise, you defeat the purpose of using Termidor SC at all.

    Q
Can CB D-Foam be used to kill and control cave crickets?
we will get cave (camel) crickets sometime in July, Aug., or Sept.. Last year I caught (killed) over 75 of these creatures in my basement and playroom with sticky stuff. I would like to rid them before they infiltrate into living areas. i used niban fg bait last year with little effect.
    A
CB-D foam probably would not be the best choice for cricket control because of the small number of places where it can be applied. You should consider using a product such as D-Force HPX in all the cracks and crevices around the perimeter of the room indoors including door frames, window frames and places where pipes, wires or cables enter through the walls. Outdoors you can use a product called Essentria IC3 to spray the same kind of areas you sprayed indoors (window frames, door frames, places where cables, pipes or wires enter into the structure) and any other crack or crevice where the crickets may be able to gain entry and you can also spray all around the base of your foundation and out onto the ground to help eliminate the crickets before they come close to your home.

    Q
Is this product safe to spray in the cracks between kitchen pantry shelves?
    A
You can apply D-Foam directly into the cracks in crevices in the kitchen pantry. You must remove all food and dishes prior to the application and you should clean up any over-spray before putting food and dishes back.
