Questioning manufacturing?
By bk on July 2, 2010

This container got the job done...and I had my hand in it's use, plus my handyman's help in setting this up. However, my handyman questioned the longevity of this product. The manufacturing of this pump sprayer disappointed him. Running a comparison with this sprayer and one he had from home depot, which cost $5.00 more: he wanted the handle of this pump to not leak air after the first use. The seal around the opening and the threading hissed air. The black tubing from the container bent and pinched off easily, in his opinion: he wanted to see a more pliable tubing. The "fan spray" did not spray in a fan configuration.

application is a breeze

The pump sprayer makes application so easy. My husband didn't want me to purchase it with our last order and said he could find something else to use that would be cheaper. I ordered it anyway, he used it and realized it was perfect especially for the price. He had looked around and found nothing that compared to the value, durability; and the others couldn't guarantee sprayers durability with the use of chemicals. You won't be disappointed especially for the price, excellent value.

Gallon Sprayer

I really like the idea that this sprayer has a nice full fan pattern. It really does a great job of applying the home barrier. Also, it pumps out every drop w/o leaving a residue in the tank. I've sprayed both our home and our daughter's place.

These are excellent sprayers. This is my 3rd order totaling 18 of these sprayers over the past 3 years. In my business we use them for a wide range of projects. I have yet to wear one out, we have discard them after a few months of use because of the chemicals that we use. A great, consistent and excellent sprayer.

Good for outside not inside

It will get the job done, but the sprayer is good for point and shoot or sprinkle. Inside you want more of a mist and this sprayer does not mist. Should of bought the more expensive one first.

Spectacular Sprayer
By Katherine on November 7, 2012I purchased this sprayer to use with FenvaStar EcoCap. I am very happy with it. I wish there was a way to control the amount of spray coming out. It worked well and did exactly what it was supposed to do. I would purchase this again.

For me, I have never experienced this type of infestation . The whole experience has been a nightmare. Mentally draining. Thanks to do my own pest control I was able to get the help I needed, discreetly. That meant alot. Then the products came with full instructions. I haven't seen a bug since. Thank you so much. I know can get some rest and piece of mind. I highly recommend these products.

April 20, 2010David asked:
QDoes the Chapin 1 Gallon Pump Sprayer have a fan tip or fan tip adjustment?
Does the Chapin 1 Gallon Pump Sprayer have a fan tip or fan tip adjustment and is it a satisfactory choice for applying Boracare at my house?
AYes the Chapin 1 gallon pump sprayer comes with an adjustable tip that adjusts from pin stream to fan spray and will work fine to apply Boracare. The Boracare product label does recommend that you mix the Boracare with very warm to hot water in a bucket and then add the dilution to the sprayer to avoid clogging.
May 4, 2012Sabrina from Temple, Texas asked:
QDoes the Chapin pump sprayer (20000) sprayer have a high pressure relief valve?
I was looking at the sprayers that you have to offer so I could compare them to see which one would be perfect for the task I need to do, and I noticed that it did not mention anything about having a high pressure auto/manual relief valve.
ANo, the basic Chapin sprayer #20000 does not have a pressure relief valve. Only the Premier sprayers, models #2120 and #21210 come with a pressure relief valve.
June 21, 2010Tina asked:
QCan you use Chapin 1 Gallon Pump Sprayer (#20000) with the Demon WP?
AYes. Demon WP can be used in the Chapin 1 Gallon Pump Sprayer (#20000). We recommend filling the sprayer with 1/2 gallon of warm water, add the Demon WP and let it sit in the water for about 5 minutes. Stir/agitate the mixture, then add the remaining water and agitate mixture again. It is important to remember that Demon WP will not truly dissolve into the water so the mixture will need to be agitated frequently to avoid clogging your sprayer.

September 25, 2010Faith asked:
QI just received my shipment of rodenticide for chipmunks.
How long does it remain potent? I have a dog on a leash currently because of leg surgery, but the dog will eventually have the run of the back yard again in 2 months. Actually, the label of this rodenticide scares me. Will the dog be safe?
ARodenticides are safe to use around pets as long as you use them correctly. Bait can remain potent for a long time, sometimes up to a year. This is why you should place the bait in tamper resistant bait stations, which let the rodents and chipmunks in the station and keeps the bait secure, but will not let your dog get to the bait. You definitely do not want to let the dog roam around the yard with rodent bait sitting out.
