CitrusGain 8-3-9 Fertilizer Blend
  • Alternate Image 1

CitrusGain 8-3-9 Fertilizer Blend is specifically formulated for citrus and other plants that have similar requirements for nutrients and is the easiest way to ensure these plants have all that they need for producing high yield, strong growth and fruit size, and for good quality juice.  Great for use with lemon, orange, lime, mango, avocado and many other fruit trees and plants.  Citrus plants need sufficient amounts of potassium, nitrogen, manganese, magnesium, copper, iron, sulfur zinc, and other micro/macro nutrients.

Bougainvillea Growers International (BGI) was founded in 1994 on 5 acres with a vision of turning a niche market into a global phenomenon, bringing color and beauty to landscapes and bougainvillea lovers everywhere. In 2012, their wholesale nurseries totaled over 67 acres. They grew over 20 varieties of bougainvillea, all specifically chosen for their reliable branching and flowering habit, and five different bougainvillea products - bush, trellis, standard, hanging basket, and bonsai.

In mid-2012, after 20 years of growing quality Bougainvillea, BGI embarked on a new venture, one that channeled their knowledge towards producing and distributing their GAIN fertilizer products that deliver exceptional blooms, luscious growth, and vital nutrients to make gardens across the country look spectacular.

QDo you spray the leaves or saturate the soil when applying CitrusGain 8-3-9 Fertilizer Blend?

A

CitrusGain 8-3-9 Fertilizer Blend should be applied to the soil around the plants; applying it directly on the leaves would burn the plants. Per the product label, water tree the day before the application, and refer to the chart on the bag for feeding amounts. Spread fertilizer evenly over the surface, within the drip line of the plant but away from the trunk. Do not apply fertilizers against the trunk of the trees or at the base of plant stems. Take care to brush or wash fertilizer granules off leaves to prevent injury. After application, water in thoroughly.
