    Q
I have pets. Should I restrict their access to the room being treated with Clean Air Purge III?
    A
If you are using the Clean Air Purge III in a timed dispenser, you should try to set it so that it goes off when the room is least likely to be occupied. If you are manually spraying the Clean Air Purge III, it would be best to have the animals out of the room during the treatment process.

    Q
Will Clean Air Purge III kill spiders? Or do you have another spray for that?
    A
Clean air purge will kill spiders if they are out in the open when you set the can off into the room.  Clean Air Purge will not leave a residual or kill new spiders entering the area.  Our best liquid application for spiders is Demon WP.  It can be used outdoors as well as indoors and will continue to kill insects and spiders for up to 30 days after application.

    Q
Do you stock the Clean Air Purge III Metered Aerosol in the 6.4 oz size for the automatic dispensers?
    A
The 6.4 oz can of Clean Air Purge III is not manufactured anymore.  However, the size of the can is the same.  The manufacturer decided to cram more product into the can, so although the weight of the can has changed, the size of the can has not changed and will fit your automatic dispenser just fine.

  • Asked by Opal from Crestview, Florida

    Q
Does Clean Air Purge III work on fruit flies?
We have tried just about everything - including bug bombing the house.. there were still fruit flies floating around after the bombing.
    A
Clean air purge is not labeled for Fruit flies. However we have very effective fruit fly traps such as Natural catch Plus traps. These traps are even used in very popular delis and bakeries. If the treatments are still ineffective please contact the local extension office and ask to speak with the Entomologist on duty. This may be a completely different pest than fruit flies.

    Q
What is the difference between the Clean Air Purge III for California vs. the other states?
In my research online, I've noticed there are cans labeled just for CA which are more expensive. What is difference between the CA cans and the can that can be used in other states?
    A
The most common reason for this difference is state restrictions and regulations. We have not heard of a different Clean Air Purge III for California with this particular product. Please call the manufacturer, Waterbury 985-878-6751 for more information.

    Q
Can any metered dispensing unit be used with clean air or purge insecticides?
    A
Not all metered aerosol dispensing systems are made to take cans of all sizes and shapes so it is possible that the the Clean Air Purge would not work in the metered aerosol dispensing machine that you have. we do carry the TimeMist Automatic Dispenser which does accept the Clean Air Purge.

  • Asked by Dustin from Mill Creek, Wa
    10/09/2014
    Q
Currently using Clean Air Purge III for fruit flies. It's not labeled for fruit flies but will it work?
    A
Clean Air Purge III Metered Aerosol will kill the fruit flies that are sprayed directly. To eliminate fruit flies, you will want to first locate and remove the source that they are attracted to. They are naturally drawn to overripe, rotting, or spoiled produce, but they also make homes in drains, garbage disposals, mop buckets, garbage cans, and recycling bins. There are several different products you can use to get rid of fruit flies. Because they are flying insects, one of the best ways to kill fruit flies in your house is to use a fruit fly trap

    Q
What is the spray frequency of the Clean Air Purge III Metered Aerosol?
In one of your answers you state that the aerosol will spray every 15 minutes for 30 days. Is there an option for to change the spray frequency? Especially since you suggest the room is unoccupied by pets when Clean Air Purge is sprayed.
    A

The spray frequency for a metered aerosol such as Clean Air Purge III will be entirely dependent on the unit you choose to mount the aerosol in, so if you have a unit that allows different setting options then you may be able to increase or decrease the frequency.
