FABULOUS!
By Bubba on October 16, 2010Great product. After only 2 applications 10 days apart fungus (black spot) is gone. MAKE SURE YOU READ ABOUT THIS PRODUCT AND ALL FUNGICIDES BEFORE YOU BUY. MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING LOCAL/HORTICULTURAL CONTROL -- you know cleaning up fallen leaves, turn your mulch, trim bad leaves/areas, soaking your trimming equipment in 10% bleach, etc. Know what you are dealing with and know that it is a fungus first. Secondly, make sure you consider a spray program and always use fungicides from different classes in order to not create resistance. In other words, if you use Cleary all the time there is a good chance you will create a resistant strain of fungus and then Cleary will not work any longer. An hour or two of reading on the internet is well worth it and your plants will thank you for it. The only problem is that this fungicide is the only COMMERCIAL, HIGH GRADE fungicide that Do My Own Pest Control has in stock. I would like to see Procure 480sc added as well as Lime-Sulfur 29% so that customers can help prevent resistant fungi by using alternating products. This would also ensure that you eliminate the fungus you have by attacking it alternately with different fungicides with completely different modes of action. Cleary 3336F is AWESOME and what the big guns use.

Pleased
By Michele on April 23, 2012I was pleased to find a source for this product as it is the only Fungicide that has been purported to be useful for Kabtina tip blight on Junipers. We have initiated treatment .... I can't speak to the efficacy of this product as the results will be long term.

Fungicide knowledge
By Lyle on August 27, 2012I purchased two different fungicide products from DoMyOwnPestControl, so I was surprised when I wrote them with a question about the products. I was advised that they didn't know much about it having just started selling fungicide. I was told tocontact my County Agricultural Office. Their response left me feeling not very confident on their expertise!!!! I would think if you are going to sell fungicide products, you ought to be VERY knowledgeable about its' uses, etc.

QMy extension service recommends 3336 WP for peach tree fungus. Is 3336F the same thing?
AYes it is. Clearys 3336 comes in many forms. 3336 WP stands for a wettable powder, which is just a powder that you mix with water. 3336F stands for flowable, which is a liquid concentrate that you mix with water. Both make the same solution but it just comes in different forms for mixing. Some people like working with powders and others like the liquid form, but the results will be the same.
May 25, 2010David asked:
QIs Cleary 3336F Fungicide useful for necrotic ring spotted lawn? Is it toxic to children on lawn?
Should I use before or after aeration of lawn? Do aeration plugs spread the necrotic disease?
AWhen treating Necrotic Ring Spot grass fungus you should first dethatch the lawn vigorously. The thatch is how the fungus spreads. You can add the Cleary 3336F Fungicide, but it will not help without dethatching regularly. Also, lower the amount of nitrogen fertilizer that you give the lawn. The product is perfectly safe for children and pets to re-enter the lawn area once it has dried. Usually 24 hours is advised before returning to the lawn. As far as aeration plugs we are not sure of the answer to that question. We would advise calling your local extension office for specific treatment questions for your area and climate.
June 25, 2010Trevor asked:
QCan Cleary 3336F be used with a hose end sprayer or does it require a tank sprayer to apply?
AYou could use a hose end sprayer as long as you can properly calibrate it to spray the recommended amount of product per gallon of water. We carry the Chapin Hose End 6004 sprayer that will spray small amounts 1 teaspoon or 1/6 of an oz) all the way up to larger amounts of 4 oz of insecticide per gallon of water. We do like using hand pump sprayers for most pesticides however because there is no possibilty of mixing mistakes.
April 22, 2011Kevin asked:
QHave you heard of using Clearys 3336F Fungicide for Austrian tip blight?
AAlthough Clearys can be used for tip blight, we are not sure about your specific kind, Austrian tip blight. We will have to ask that you call the manufacturer for clarification on this since they may want to ask specific questions about your situation. You can reach Cleary Chemical at 410-371-8298.
July 28, 2011Bruce asked:
QWhat fungicide do you recommend to control Kabatina Tip Blight?
There is a fungus that attacks my Kabatina juniper. I need a fungicide to control it. The material needs to be applied in the fall.
AThe main product we sell for Kabatina Tip Blight and Phomopsis Tip Blight on junipers is Clearys 3336F Fungicide. In addition to treating with Clearys, you should immediately stop all irrigation and watering in the area. You should also not shear the junipers. Treatment for Phomopsis tip blight should begin in early spring and continue at 10-14 day intervals. Spring treatments are not effective for Kabatina tip blight. Fungicide applications should begin in the fall for Kabatina tip blight.
December 27, 2011Mark from Pleasanton, Ca asked:
QWhat concentration and how often should Cleary 3336 be applied for apricot eutypa?
AClearys is a new product for us and we are not familiar enough with it yet to be able to give you a definitive answer. However, you can call the manufacturer and they can definitely help you since they are the experts on their own product. You can reach Cleary's at 1-800-524-1662.
June 7, 2010Mike asked:
QI am treating bent grass. For preventitive, how much would I mix for 1 gallon?
I was told 1 ounce for a gallon. Can you confirm this?
AAlthough we have started carrying herbicides due to popular request from our customers, grass and lawns are not our area of expertise. Therefore we are not giving advice yet on Herbicides as we are not the experts. We recommend calling the manufacturer Cleary Chemical. They can be reached at 1-800-524-1662.
June 27, 2011Gregg asked:

September 3, 2011Steve from Spokane, Wa asked:
QCan Clearys 3336F be used as drench to help control ferry ring?
AWe are not sure of the answer to your question. Although we do sell herbicides, we started doing so based on customer request and we are pest control experts more so than experts on herbicides. We would feel better if you would direct your question to the manufacturer. The number is 800-524-1662.
June 24, 2012Rick from Rio Rancho, Nm asked:
QMajor leaves dropping on our Sycamore tree. HELP
Our Sycamore tree is shedding leaves faster now in June than in the fall. I looked it up online and this is what I found. " Sycamore Anthracnose. Pathogen: Apiognomonia veneta". Will this product help with this fungus?
AClearys 3336F Fungicide is labeled for use on trees and does treat Anthracnose. Please read the Clearys 3336 F product label for complete usage instructions. We do recommend that you have the fungus on your tree professionally identified to be sure that is what you are dealing with.
