The Climb-up Insect Interceptor XL is a larger version of the original ClimbUp, an intuitive bed bug monitor and trapping device that can play an important and crucial role in the fight against bed bugs. Bed Bug Climb Up Interceptor XL is a simple pitfall trap that can be placed under the legs and feet of couches and chairs, bed posts, or other posts and legs of furniture where people rest or sleep. Bed Bugs in other parts of the infested dwelling will travel in search of a blood meal and can be intercepted and trapped in the Climb-up Interceptor as they attempt to gain access to the beds or other furniture that have the interceptor devices installed. This is an excellent and inexpensive way to keep a bed or couch free from bed bug infestation, monitor an existing bed bug problem, or to detect a new bed bug infestation.
The Center Well where your the foot of your bed post would sit in the ClimUp XL is 5 1/2 x 7 1/4 inches across in diameter. Â
Precautionary Statement: Â
Furniture legs may break through the inner well when padded carpeting is present.
If carpeting is present in your home, the underside of the inner well may not have enough support to prevent it from breaking. If the inner well becomes cracked or broken, the broken device should be washed and discarded and replaced with a new ClimbUp® device. Cracking can be prevented over padded carpet by reinforcing with a 5â€ÂĚdiameter rigid disk under the device, for example a 5â€ÂĚ steel dock washer.

Horrible customer service when trying to cancel order!
By Christina in Newtown, PA on 10/16/2012
I contacted DMOPC customer service less than 24 hours after submitting my order to cancel it. I was told that the order had already been sent and could not be cancelled. I followed up on my order via the tracking number just after speaking with DMOPC and the carrier explained it had not been sent yet and would not arrive for at least 5 working days. I was told by DMOPC customer service that despite contacting them in less than 24 hours to cancel the order I would be responsible for paying for the return sending cost as well as the initial free shipping costs! Customer service would not work with me at all on this issue and was very rude about it. This company was clealy not concerned with keeping me as a customer.

QIs there any particular benefit in getting the XL Climb Up version rather than the standard sized one?
My bed doesn't have huge legs so I want to know if there is any reason for me to get the XL version. Does the XL capture more bugs, is it more durable, is it higher quality? Does it function differently in any way or require more maintenance? Or is the ONLY difference is the size and nothing else? That is the main question: is SIZE the ONLY difference between the two interceptors? Thanks in advance!
AThe Climb Up XL version is not only bigger, but it is a much thicker, more durable plastic than the standard climb up. The previous climb up had a tendency to crack when used on carpet with a heavy bed because on carpet there is not as much support as there is being on hardwood or concrete type floors. The Climb UP XL is better to use on carpet because it provides better support for the bed posts, especially if they are thinner type posts.

Qis that an "each" price...how many are in a package
I know it would be silly for a company to sell an each (single) trap since all bed that I know of have legs. I just have to make sure the price is for a set of 4
AClimb-Up Insect Interceptor XL are indeed sold by the each. The manufacturer decided to sell them individually.

QI have a futon. The "legs" are 6 1/2" round. Will the Climb-Up Insect Interceptor XL work for this?
AWe are not sure if you have given us the diameter or the circumference of the futon legs so we are not sure if the leg would fit. The Center Well where your the leg of your futon would sit in the ClimbUp XL is 5 1/2 x 7 1/4 inches across.
