Safety Products

Please be sure to read the product label of any insecticide you choose to use to get information on the personal protective safety gear you will need. In most situations, it is recommended that you wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt, closed toe shoes with socks, chemical resistant gloves, and goggles. In areas where ventilation is poor, a manufacturer may recommend you wear a mask or a respirator. We have put together two different safety kits that will make selecting the correct safety gear easier for you.

Overview

Know The Growing Conditions Of Clover

While it might be easy to spot clover, it will be helpful to know where it is most likely to grow and what conditions it thrives in. This will help you find clover and treat it quickly.
Step 1

Have Your Soil's Nitrogen Level Checked

One of the key factors for clover to take hold in your lawn is under-fertilization. Soil that is low in nitrogen creates an inviting place for clover to take hold. Often times, it's even used as an indication for low nitrogen in the soil.

If you see clover, there's a good chance the soil is lacking nitrogen. If you know there are areas of your lawn that consistently lack proper nutrients, this is an area you should inspect carefully. A soil test can tell you exactly what nutrients your soil has and what it lacks.
