5 of 5 stars  One Of The Best Investments In My Life
By Justin in texarkana on 09/15/2013

I live next to the Army's largest Depot and all the returning armored vehicles etc., brought back nightmares of new insects in the Afghan and Iraq sand. Clear Sand flies that carry deadly diseases ; bed bugs that elders say are "no bed bugs they have ever seen" jump , land on you and dig out of site in your tissue. Fleas that nothing kills. I spent thousands of dollars on cheap can foggers that would have worked 10 years ago. It is war continued. I have learned for survival every insect spray and my biology degree has allowed some comfort in identification of insects using my microscopes plus research. I swear on my life it is money thrown away on insecticides unless you have a ULV fogger. The Commander Tri-Jet Fogger will fog so fine it takes a few minutes to see a fog forming , creeping its way into the walls and every crack killing every nasty bug that no spray bottle could ever reach. I lived 2 years in insect hell and tried every insecticide ; some 300$. All the money I spent I should have just poured the insecticides in a river ( no never ever do that just a little humor after a very bad experience with bugs most of these insecticides will kill fish). Save thousands of dollars and possibly years of heart ache and maybe even your life ruined over insect infestations and buy a ULV fogger. Buying the Commander tri jet fogger literally has saved my life and ended a long time of misery. The insecticides that do not work with a sprayer turn to magic bug killers with the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger. Thank you DMOPControl.

I really wasn't sure what I was buying because the pics don't give size reference. The is a large, but light weight fogged with massive power to spray incredibly fine mist very far and deep into surrounding trees and house overhangs and under hard to reach porches, etc where my Mosquitos flock from. Best purchase ever.

Do My Own Pest Control was excellent to do business with. The fog machine was here in 4 days and is exactly what I ordered. I used it immediately to fog a mobile home with mold killer and it worked great!

By Lj in Merritt ISland, FL on 08/04/2014

I use this fogger in the HVAC system of my Sports Bar. (Smoking bar). It does a great job fogging the product so the HVAC system can suck it through the Duct work, killing the nicotine and freshening the building. (I use Benefect to do this, totally food and people safe, and it smells wonderful!) Works really well, don't hesitate to buy this one!

It says in the website that has a warranty of a few years, but it only gives you a little piece of paper where you write your info and you are supposed to send it back. Doesn't give you any information at all about where or who to contact in case of need. A few years ago i bought this machines and i send the piece of paper but nothing happened....

    5 of 5 stars  Wow...
By Ralph in Evans, GA on 09/08/2016

This fogger made treating my attic and crawlspace for pests quick and easy. I used an oil based pesticide with this fogger and it had really good "hang time", so there's no doubt the treatment entered a lot of cracks and crevices. The fog gets thick enough that you can't really see your surroundings, so be careful. Yes, I was fully suited and masked. No more injuries from roofing nails and no more bobbing and weaving through attic beams for me! Only thing that would make this better is a remote control and an automatic cutoff switch when the reservoir is empty.

Totally satisfied with this product. Hopefully, it will last for a good number of years. I've used both water and oil based products and both work, well. Cleans up easy. I use this for my home. Got tired of replacing Black Flag foggers, every yesr.

    5 of 5 stars  Commander Tri-Jet Fogger
By Howardr in Jackson, MS on 06/21/2016

After several months of failed attempts with can foggers and fumigators, I purchased the Tri-Jet Fogger, ExciteR, and Nyguard (IGR). I discovered my hard to get rid of insect problem was taking refuge in my air conditioning ducts. (Can fumigators and foggers instruct that central air cooling/heating systems be off and ceiling ducts be closed. Generally speaking, the cans do not have enough content nor dispersal duration to effectively cover the ventilation system AND the actual rooms in need of treatment.) I opened all the central air vents, removed the return air duct filter, and turned the unit's fan to "continuous run". Per manufacturer's instructions, I mixed the ExciteR and Nylar in a one gallon water based mix. I aimed the unit at the return air duct, set it to its smallest mist setting, and turned it on. I checked after about half an our, the "fogged" product had filled my two bedroom apt. and the Fogger was empty. Turned it off and returned in about two hours. The flea/tick insect (not sure what it was) I was trying to rid was gone, but there was an unexpected bonus, several spiders were lying out in the open, under the vent locations, dead, as well as one silverfish by my front door.

5 of 5 stars  Excellent fogger
By David in Roswell on 01/21/2016

I have used this fogger twice now - once to fog my car and get the musty smell out and once to fog my garage to get the musty smell out. Worked flawlessly both times. I used Concrobium both times in the fogger. Be aware the Concrobium does leave behind a white film (by design to prevent mold from resettling) so for a car you have to wipe down all surfaces when you are done.

By Sandi in Wauwatosa on 01/13/2016

Fighting an outbreak of ringworm in a two bedroom apartment, 2 cats, one adult. The fogger was easy to use and incredibly effective. Super fine mist, powerful spray gives great coverage and much quieter than I anticipated. Solidly built. Set up and cleaning took only a few minutes. So glad I purchased this fogger it is well worth the money!!

QCan these 4 work in the Tri Jet Fogger: Gentrol IGR, NyGuard IGR, Demand CS, and Demon WP?
These are the 4 product I currently have bought from your company.

AWhile the NyGuard IGR and Gentrol IGR are labeled for use in fogging equipment, the Demand CS and Demon WP are not and will not work in the Commander Tri Jet Fogger or any other fogging unit. Please tell us what insect you are trying to treat for so that we can give you better tips on application of these products you purchased for the insect you are trying to eliminate.

QCan you adjust the droplet size? Can you point the stream up or down or to the side?
I want a fogger for using cedar-based natural pesticide against mites that have completely permeated my large apartment and everything in it. I want to point it to penetrate ceilings, corners and baseboards. I'm going to try cedar because two well-reputed exterminating companies have already failed, using chemicals including the ones you recommend. UGH.

AYes, the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger an adjustable valve and can pivot up and down.

QWhat kind of chemical do you use in the Commander Tri Jet Fogger?

A

The Commander Tri-Jet Fogger can be used with both oil and water based fogging solutions indoors or outdoors. You could use something like Riptide which is a water based solution and can be used indoors and out.

QCan a fogger be used in say an attic for treatment of old house borers? If so which chemical do you recommend?

AWhile foggers can be used in attics to treat for many insects, fogs are normally not the recommended treatment method for any type of boring insect. You would need to treat the wood in the attic directly with a product like Boracare. Boracare is specifically formulated to absorb into wood either through spraying or painting it onto the surface and eliminate any insect that consumes the wood. It will last for the life of the wood as well to help prevent any new infestations from wood destroying insects or wood destroying fungus. You can see a great article from the Penn State Universities Entomology department on Old House Borers HERE. Under the management area number 3 refers to the borate treatment for the wood.

QOutdoor use for mosquitos?
Will this fogger with Riptide be more effective at controlling mosquitos vs. using a pump sprayer with Talstar P? I want to get the best bang for my buck but don't want to waste money on something that will not work and don't want to spend 700 on a blower.

AYes, a Commander Tri-Jet Fogger can be used outdoors as well as indoors. Riptide ULV is labeled to be used in the Commander Tri-Jet Fogger, however, Riptide is a contact kill; it does not have any type of residual effect after it is dry.  Talstar P (Talstar One) has a residual effect that would keep on killing for at least 30 days outdoors and 90 days indoors. They are both wonderful options for mosquito control but if you are looking for something that is going to last longer, we would recommend using Talstar P (Talstar One).

QI need fly control in my barn. Do I have to remove the horses? Will this fogger work for this need?
My barn is 48x48 and is infested with flies regardless of cleaning 2x's a day. Is this a fogger that can be used 24/7 with the horses in the barn?

A

No, Commander Tri Jet foggers are not meant to be left on all day. This will burn the motor out if you do so. It is recommended that when you are using this fogger, put the right amount of product into the tank, let it run for as long as it needs to, and turn it off immediately to prolong the life of the fogger. Generally, it takes no more than 6-7 minutes for a product to disperse throughout the room when using this product.†

A good option for fly control in the barn to use inside of the Commander Tri Jet fogger is Riptide. It will kill whatever it comes in contact with and once dry, it does not leave a residual.†

I need to treat kitchen for multi pest. I heard this can be used and there is little clean up or prep. Is that the case?

A

The†Commander Tri-Jet Fogger†can be used in restaurant kitchen when it and the product you intend to use it are used as directed. †It is easy to use and good for small areas. You want to be sure that no food or utensils are exposed at the time of treatment, and any food-handling surfaces would need to be cleaned after fogging.

A

QCan I use the Commander Tri Jet Fogger in a Halloween scary role to make fog?

AMost fog machines consist of a heat element to heat up the oil based fogging product to create a "fog". The Commander Tri Jet shoots out a cold ultra low volume spray and it does not contain a heating element. This product would likely perform very poorly for this use and would likely end up drenching people in product.
