Concerning Dominion 2L - I understand that it is a great product and than you for your equally great prices!

Concerning Dominion 2L, my neighbors have had termite problems --- but knock on wood, I don't. But it is only a matter of time until they find my house. I want to be sure to keep my house termite-free. I never put mulch near the house --- I only have bare soil next to my house. Dominion 2L will absorb into the soil and rain will eventually wash it further down into the soil just like with any other chemical. Here is my point and my question: I was thinking of mixing as your video suggests and then pouring it on the top layer of soil instead of the hard work of digging a trench all around the house. Over the coming cooler months of late Autumn and then followed by the Winter months and then well before the next termite season arrives in the Spring, the product will most certainly be well absorbed and washed into the soil surrounding my house. In other words, there is plenty of time for the product to get washed deep-enough into the soil before the next termite season arrives. I know that might not exactly be the preferred methodology but it would sure be better for my aching back. Do you see any noticeable problems?

Answer:

We do not recommend only treating the top layer of soil with Dominion 2L for termite treatments. Insects that crawl on top of the soil will be the only ones that will come into contact with the treated areas. Termites live beneath the soil and that is why the trenching method is the preferred treatment application for adaquate coverage. We understand that it is a labor intensive job and that is why the labor costs for professionals is pricey for some homeowners.
