Whole neighborhood has been fighting a huge rat infestation this year. Had been putting out bait stations with "green" bait from local big-box hardware store - but the rats seem to think it was free food - had to fill the stations almost daily, and they would just continue to come back for more, with no reduction in the rat population. Actually found chunks of the bait in a live rat nest, stored for midnight snacks, I guess. The Contrac actually works - two weeks, and local rat population seems to be shrinking rapidly, with first loading of (well nibbled) bait still in the stations.

I am very pleased with the results of this product. I have a few stubborn critters that will eventually find the bait and suffer the consequences of their decision to make my home theirs! Thank you for a great product that really works.

We had an outdoor rat infestation in our urban garden. It took a little bit of time, but after 2 weeks of baiting with Contrac, we had a major rat die off. Eight rats over a two day period. Now, haven't seen any activity for the last week. Hopefully it got them all. Very happy with this site and the product.

Live in wooded area ,mice in house,called do my own pest control purched rat boxes and contrac blox problem solved! Three years later no mice in house .

Contrac is an amazing product that we have used for several years. It works in and out of all our buildings. The blocks work as well as the pellets, but using both certainly covers large and small areas. We highly recommend this product for taking care of the destructive critters.

rats like to knaw on things,, they knawed on these tablets and that was it. Instead of a slow reduction in the previous mouse poison i was using they tried this stuff and then they were gone.

So we live in a large city and have never had a problem with small rodents in the last 20 years (raccoons yes, rats no). Then last year I found evidence that we had somehow acquired at least one. There was a building on the corner of the street that had sat abandoned for a bit while it changed ownership. Right after they began renovations is when we found droppings. We tried everything. All those youtube video how-to's and every article I could google, half the products from our local hardware store and things my country relatives suggested. We had some success overall, but we never really got the whole nest. It was driving me up a wall. One night after hearing scratching in the basement ceiling I lost it. Three am in the morning and I'm trying to look up all-night exterminators. Then I stumble on this sight. I think, well this is what the professionals use, let's just do it. (I was pretty sure we did't need 18lb but I was willing to insulate the walls with this stuff if it would help). Four days later, I've got a bucket and an evil grin as I bust it open. Three days later and there's no more scratching in the walls. Two weeks later, it's still silent and I can't find any droppings. Two months later, I still haven't heard anything, the dog hasn't alerted to anything, and there's no black greasy spots randomly appearing in places I know I've cleaned. Seriously this stuff works. If it doesn't work for you, you're doing it wrong.

I have been using it for about three years and it does the job. Get the traps and check them about every 60 -90 days (depending on how many you have). I have 3 under my house. We live next to a green belt area and have a constant problem with them I was paying about $89.00 a month for a pest guy so this paid for itself in less than 2 months! However I see this can no longer be shipped to CA so when my supply runs out I will need to get something else

Living in DC this was a must. Read reviews from others in big cities and decided to give this a try. Well worth the price! We didn't have any activity for two years, despite being in a DC row house with a neighbor that...well let me keep this on a positive note, the stuff works! We never had it in the house, instead placed it around the outside perimeter. Recently noticed activity, for the first time in two years I saw a mouse in the backyard. We put more blocks outside. Realized that they are now expired. Save money, do it yourself, but pay attention to the expiration date.

The Do My Own website has excellent technical information relating to their various products. Allows you to make an informed decision regarding product selection. I have been using Contrac Blox for years and am pleased with the results. Living in Chicago (the rat capital of the country) I put the product to good use. I sure wish they had a product to sterilize the rats.

Unsure about rated just yet. They have eaten all that I put out and I am starting to see colored droppings. Does this mean they aren't dying?

I have been using this product for a few years now I have found that for the most part it's very effective at attracting rats and having them consume the product. The irony is that I've never seen the dead rats but after several feedings in the same locations and then have the amount of bait consumed become less and less I can only conclude that they are in the process of dying. Since this is a one feed killing bait I can only assume that there were a lot of rats consuming this. I definitely refer this to the multiple feed bait out there that kills them slower and with more feedings.

Really convenient product and method for us. We have a horse stable, with several additional out buildings that provide rodent havens. I cut up a bunch of 4" by 4" pieces of half inch plywood, and put a screw or nail thru the center. I place them around the area. With the center holes in the Blox, it allows me to drop one of the Contrac All Weather Blox on the nail or screw. This keeps the rodents from carrying off the blox, and I can easily see if I need to re-bait. I would Recommend the product and my "un-patented" technique! :)

Knew I had mice and/or other stuff around so finally got this on a recommendation from a pest guy buddy. These baits got hit extremely hard for 3 days, some mostly eaten and some even moved/disappeared/taken by something. Haven't seen much action since so I'm assuming that the mice are dead and gone. In my garage baits are still getting hit and disappearing completely, so I definitely got something going on out there, but this stuff seems to kill whatever eats it pretty quickly, so should be putting a dent in that population. Definitely recommend this stuff

Absolutly works. Got Chickens, 5 months later Rats found a new food source. Started bring the chicken feeders in every night removing the food source. Placed stations near rat entrances and placed chicken food in station for a week. Within 2 weeks rats felt comfortable eating the chicken food in the Bait Station. The next week I loaded Station with the Contrac All-Weather Blox Rodenticide bait. 5 days later check the Station and it was empty......they ate it all. Step one works now waiting the see how the poison does. It claims it takes a few days to kill. I know the rats like it. I have a trail camera. Will report back in a few days. BTW the sales person who helped me was very qualified and knowledgeable.

We use it inside and outside of the hangar. Most rodents go outside to die. Completely solved rodent problem.

In my opinion this is a cost effective anti-coagulant. My second bucket of this size. Very much accepted by rodents which is obviously important. Of the anti-coagulants, this one is more easily antidoted than others.

Last winter one of my rentals had a problem with mice. I paid a contractor to correct the issue. I was so impressed with the product which he used, I purchased the same. I did a following treatment myself. Now the house appears clear of mice. I recently applied another application as a preventive measure.

First of all I received my order within just a few days. Very fast shipping and receiving. I used the Blox as soon as I received it. Within three days I had dead mice lying in the drive. I knew I had mice issues in the attic area because I saw their droppings. The Blox has taken care of the issue and I highly recommend this product. Kills mice dead.

Bought it because the price was good for how much you get. I'm always fighting mice in my shed. Previous owners had traps installed with this stuff inside. So far so good.

had to use alot, alot of these green chunks as 4 boxes of 4 chucks were getting completely eaten every by the time we checked our camp ever 4, four, days. After using many, many, and keeping hammering the fight. i think the rodents are getting the word. stay out! however, after many, many green chunks, I found the purple ones, which are more expensive, and the rodents don't eat as much.. maybe they are dead! will check this week. It would be great not to have to drive all the way to my seasonal home every couple of days just to do a mouse check.
