Control of Coddling Moths on Apple Trees using Hi-Yield 55% Malathion Insecticide Spray

Colorado State University recommends use of Malathion + Oil. Your label makes no mention of use on apple trees. What's the deal?

Answer:

Hi-Yield 55% Malathion Insecticide Spray is not labeled for use on apple trees you are correct.  We do not know why the manufacturer does not have apples listed nor can we comment on what a third party has advised as we must go by what is on the product label.  You can contact VPG directly if you would to confirm, they can be contacted at 888-583-5296. We do carry the Bonide Fruit Tree Spray that is labeled for codling moths on apples.
