    Fair price

Good product. Cupro bought out Kocide copper fungicide, so now the only choice is this. Same product basically, but the directions in Cupro stink--keep the directions from your old Kocide!

    Controls Mold when Building Leaks

    By Richard on 09/05/2017

Protects wood from mold growth when water intrudes. Copper Hydroxide is sprayed on as a water suspension, shake sprayer vigorously to keep product in suspension. Product adheres strongly when dry and becomes active against "dry-rot" when dampness increases. I have also used it to protect orchid leaves from fungal attack. Even though the persistent blue stain is distracting, it becomes active when wet which is when fungus attacks. Avoid contact with orchid roots, they will be damaged by this very alkaline product. Pay particular attention to safety notes. Do Not Allow Contact with Eyes.

    excellent customer support and pricing

    By James on 03/25/2022

I can't really comment on the fungicide itself. How do you really know if its working or not? What I can say is that the rep on the phone was very knowledgeable and helped me to figure out the correct fungicide and concentration amounts based on the disease that my tree had. Also pricing was very competitive and shipping was fast. Great experience dealing with this company.

Q
How much CuPRO 5000 DF Fungicide do I use per gallon to treat roses?

I purchased CuPRO to use both as a preventative and to treat blackspot. I am not able to determine from the label how much I should use per gallon of water. Actually, I find the instructions hard to comprehend--since it uses acres an so forth. Have others said the same thing? My concern is that I do not want to use too much or too little.

A

CuPRO 5000 DF Fungicide is a professional product and the label may be difficult to understand. Like most fungicides and herbicides, the amount of water is not important as it acts as a carrier. You will mix 1 1/2 tsp in no less than 1-2 gallons of water. Per the label, the product can cause discoloration of foliage and/or blooms on some varieties of roses. Popular choices for black spot on roses that come in smaller quantities would be Brandt Consan Triple Action 20, or Bayer Advanced Disease Control for Roses, Flowers and Shrubs Concentrate.

Q
How much CuPro 5000 do I add to a gallon sprayer to treat Leyland Cypress?
A
According to the CuPro 5000 Fungicide Product Label, for Leyland Cypress you would use between 3-5 lbs of the product per acre in 20-50 gallons of water. This comes out to just over 1 ounce(2 TBSP) per 1000 square feet in no less than 1-2 gallons of water.

Q
How much water with 1oz CuPRO 5000 DF Fungicide?

yOU SAY "use 1 ounce(2 TBSP) CuPRO 5000 DF Fungicide per 1000 square feet in no less than 1-2 gallons of water..." That is a 100% difference in the strength of the solution. That is a lot. Can you be more definitive in the amount please. ONE VALUE.

A
When using CuPRO 5000 DF Fungicide water acts as the carrier. In fact, the more water the better to assist with the plant soaking up the CUpro. As long as you evenly apply 1 oz over 1000 square feet, you can use either 1-2 gallons of water.
