CyKick Aerosol is a Crack & Crevice Residual insecticide that offers a fast knockdown of insect pests. Cy-Kick "residual" means that the aerosol leaves a film that keeps on killing for weeks. The aerosol formulation of Cy-Kick is designed for residential and commercial applications where crack and crevice, spot and void treatments are needed. The low odor formulation of Cy-Kick Aerosol makes it a perfect application choice for indoor residential treatment sites, food handling and sensitive areas. Cy-Kick Aerosol is labeled for many common pests typically found in and around structures, including spiders, bed bugs, ants, roaches, beetles, centipedes, millipedes, scorpions, earwigs, boxelder bugs, silverfish, pantry pests, and more.
Both Cy-Kick Aerosol and Cy-Kick CS Aerosol contain the same amount of Cyfluthrin, however the CS Aerosol formulation has more of a foaming effect and has different labeling due to the micro-encapsulated formulation. Be sure to read the product labels to determine which product is best for your application needs.

How Cy-Kick Aerosol Works
Cy-Kick Aerosol is a ready-to-use pressurized insecticide with the active ingredient Cyfluthrin. Cyfluthrin is a synthetic pyrethroid made to mimic the effects on insects of naturally occurring pyrethrins, which are derived from the Chrysanthemum flower. Cyfluthrin attacks the central nervous system of target pests that come into contact with the direct spray or dried residual of Cy-Kick Aerosol.

Spot and localized perimeter applications can be treated quickly, reducing the need for expensive application equipment and eliminating mix and measure products. Residual lasts for up to six weeks.
Cy-Kick Aerosol is an easy-to-use treatment for control of many common pests, including ants, roaches, silverfish, boxelder bugs, carpenter bees, millipedes, scorpions, spiders, wood wasps, and spot treatments of wood-destroying pests. Application Instructions for Cy-Kick Aerosol
Use with the supplied actuator and injection tubes or other aerosol equipment. Inject into cracks and crevices or void spaces where insects may be harboring, living and breeding. Place injector tip into cracks, crevices, holes, and other small openings. Release approximately 1 second of product. Move injector tip along cracks while treating at a rate of 1-3 feet per second, depending on level of infestation.
In closed voids, treat at the rate of 1-5 seconds/3 cubic feet. Several holes may be required in long-running voids.
For spot treatments, use with the supplied actuator and injection tubes or other similar equipment. Hold container upright while spraying. Direct nozzle approximately 12” from surface to be treated. Apply directly on insects in these locations when possible.
Wood Destroying Insects Indoors and Outdoors: Cy-Kick Aerosol can be used to treat localized areas for wood-infesting insects such as beetles and borers, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, termites and wood wasps. Locate suspected infestation and/or insect tunnels and cavities. Drill pilot holes into insect tunnels, galleries and inaccessible closed voids. Drill holes 8-10” apart to ensure thorough coverage. Inject 5-10 seconds per hole. This treatment is for localized termite infestations only, to kill workers or winged reproductive forms which may be present in the treated channels at the time of treatment.

The best stuff ever!
By Mark on August 26, 2009
Last year I had to get let go of my pest control company because they would only show up when nobody was home and thus the inside of my house would never get inspected or serviced. I found out that my company's pest control service uses Cy-Kick Aerosol in our workplace. I bought it from DoMyOwnPestControl.com (thank goodness that they sold it, since I could not find it anywhere else). This product works great. It takes me less than 45 minutes to perform my own inside service and my results are better than when I used a pest control company!

Had pantry moth infestation for almost a year now and cleaned out my pantry twice. Finally bought the traps and this aerosol and followed the directions and I have only seen and killed 3 moths. My trap had none. What I love is that the spray with the long nozzle is very powerful and very accurate so it was very easy for a short person to spray even where I couldn't reach. No odor noticed and I don't know if I did a great job cleaning up or if this spray did its job BUT this is a MUST buy after if you want to stop the cycle.

Did the job for me!
By Jayson on August 16, 2008
National pest control company used this product to kill spiders outside. I have tons of spiders around the doors. I would walk out the door and walk though spider webs. 30 mins later the webs would be rebuilt and I would walk through them again. Spiders were bad, but Cy-Kick aerosol did the job. Not one spider has been seen since. I decided to DoMyOwnPestControl and ordered this product. Spider free for now! The residual effects of this product is excellent.

Good stuff, I had a problem with American roaches when I first bought my house. I use Cy-Kick Aerosol around base boards, in door jams, around windows, and in the corners of my garage. Great for keeping out most crawling insects. Not too effective at killing wolf spiders though. I sprayed it directly on a large wolf spider I found in my house and it only slowed it down, didn't kill it.

This product did the trick. Ants were living in the house for years. Every winter they were there. I tried a lot of products but this one did it. I don't have ants anymore. That is why I purchased another case. I have rental units and houses that have ants. Using it on them now with good success.

The spray did nothing. It'd like the roaches are laughing at my for buying this junk
By Kristina in Summersville, MO on November 5, 2014
I had a major moth problem, with adult moths and larva. I tried many things: I had an exterminator come out, he sprayed, but said I needed to find the source, well I threw everything out, said to find the source, I couldn't find the source, so still not sure where they came from, I ordered all natural spray that uses essential oils, it seemed to help, all the while cleaning with hot, soapy water every single day and vacuuming continuously, almost two months passed, I ordered the Cy-Kick Aerosol, I was able to get into the crevices behind the counters and such. I still have some adults moths and the occasional larva, but I believed it has help. The only issue I have is leakage. As soon as I put the stick in to reach the crevices it leaked and sometime the sprayer would stick and continue to spray.

Works great on contact but it's only a temporary solution
By Anne in SF Bay Area on September 30, 2014
We've been having problems with springtails this year coming into the house. It's not a big infestation but it's annoying when they keep showing up on your kitchen/bathroom counter and sink areas (usually about 3-10 springtails at once). We have used this product, while it kills them and keeps them away, it only does the job temporary (springtails free for 1-2 days). My husband can't smell it but this product leaves behind a chemically mild odor so I would recommend leaving the windows open when using this product.

Highly recommended by domywonpestcontrol for killing and controlling spiders and other pest. Product goes quickly and did not control spider population outdoors nor indoors for the price.
CY - Kick is awesome!

I use this on my scorpion hunts and it works GREAT! I won't even try another product. It kills the baby scorpions immediately and takes 3-4 minutes to kill the larger ones. YUCK!
By Suzie in PA on June 27, 2014
this stuff works great. I couldn't get the tube in the sprayer part. so I sprayed anyway. apart from it running down my arm, I sprayed everything anyway. the spiders and buds I do see, they are dead and I don't have to worry about a spider crawling on me when I'm not looking.

One of the best
By Domyownbarrier in Florida on June 21, 2014
This is a great residual product. It lasts. When compared to the stuff you buy at the grocery store or big box stores, it makes those products look like their made of water. It is pricey, but not as pricey as calling an exterminator to come out and spray the same stuff. Use this to create a barrier around your entrances like doors and window sills. Get the bag of Bifen Granules and sprinkle them outside around the entire foundation of your house. This will create a great barrier for eliminating creepy crawly's in your home.

September 2, 2010 Asher asked:
QIs Cy Kick Aerosol safe to use next to pregnant women and infants?
AWhen used according to the product label, Cy-Kick aerosol is safe to use around infants and pregnant women. It is important that everyone is out of the area during the application. Everyone is free to return to the treated area as soon as it is dry.
May 24, 2010 Cheryl asked:
QCan this Cy Kick Aerosol be used indoors around small pets?
I have a small dog and will take her to a neighbors house when i spray but will it be safe for her after the product has dried for an hour or two?
AYes. Cy-Kick Aerosol can be used in a house where animals live, the animals just need to be out of the area that is being treated, and they can return as soon as the treated area is dry.
December 30, 2010 Darnell asked:
QIs Cy-Kick aerosol safe to use in a child's room?
Roaches seem to hide between the bed and wall. This is where I like to spray. My kids are wild sleepers and they tend to let their blankets fall in that area. My question is, if the blanket does fall could the Cy-Kick harm my kids if they then use the blanket? Is Cy-Kick safe once it is dry?
AFirst, you may want to consider thoroughly cleaning the area where roaches tend to congregate in your childs room, especially if your child eats in there. Second, if you are using the Cy-Kick Aerosol properly (please read the product label) then it is only being applied to the cracks and crevices around the room, not out in the open on the floor. By applying the product as specified on the product label, you limit the contact your children can have with it. And yes, once the product is dry it is safe for the kids to be around.

Brian from Melbourne, Fl asked:
QWhat product or procedures will get rid of bugs in my rice and pasta products?
I live in Florida and have a have a food storage pantry that I have typically stored rice, spaghetti, lasagne, and noodles in. I discovered bugs in my rice a few months ago, and soon found the same bugs in all my pasta products. I threw everything out, bought new products, and the bugs were back in everthing within days. I have since used or thrown products out again, and am buying in small quantities only and using product quickly, but still have the bugs from time to time. I can't get rid of them and they must be still in some products. I am worried that they could find their way through the house to my kitchen pantry. I use Taslstar P on a regular basis for my home protection, but obviously don't spray my shelves and food, only the baseboards. I need some suggestions on what to do or use to get rid of these bugs.
AFor pantry beetles or weevils you should remove everything from the cabinet, inspect every item, discard anything that is infested. Next you should thoroughly vacuum all cracks in the cabinet. Last, you can apply a product such as Cy-Kick Aerosol to all of cracks and crevices in the cabinet to help kill any hidden pupa as they emerge so that they cannot continue to re-infest products. After the cabinet has completely dried you can put food products back in the cabinet.
May 7, 2010 Monica asked:
QCan Cy-Kick be used around my baseboards and not just cracks and crevices?
ACy-Kick aerosol does have to be used in cracks and crevices. The label states that Cy Kick may used behind the baseboards and in cracks and crevices around the baseboards.

QI've been finding house crickets in my apartment. I think they're coming in from outside.
Which would you recommend for crickets? Cy-kick or D-force? Which is more effective, less odor, and longer residual? Also, will it kill eggs?
A Cy-Kick and D-Force are both very good products that are labeled to kill crickets. They both have a residual that will keep killing. They are both crack and crevice sprays. D-Force does have a residual of 8 weeks, while Cy-Kick will be about 6 weeks. Their is a mild odor with both. No, these products will not kill eggs.

Dennis from United States asked:
QWhat is a good indoor pet friendly aerosol with residual besides Cy Kick Aerosol?
I asked for help with this before and Cy-Kick CS Aerosol was recommended. It works great in the garage, but I do not like it for inside. It smells and takes a long time to dry. What else can you recommend?
We apologize, but we would need more details on the type of insect your are treating for to recommend an indoor pet friendly aerosol with residual. Are you wanting to treat cracks and crevices only or wanting a broadcast aerosol to apply over the carpeted areas. Below are some suggestions for each type of application. Crack and Crevice Treatment: Broadcast Application (carpet, pet bedding, rugs)

Henry from Houston, Tx asked:
QWill Cy-Kick control infestation of BookLice in bathroom?
I believe that our newly constructed house has moisture in between the drywall. We are seeing quite a few BookLice in the bathrooms and any place that is has moisture. Will this product help in eliminating them?
The best way to control booklice is by lowering the humidity in the infested areas which in turn will help eliminate the mold and fungus these insects need to survive. Infested furniture and carpeting if any, should be thoroughly steam cleaned and vacuumed. You can spray your furniture with Sterifab to get rid of any lingering insects. Cracks and crevices around baseboards, door frames, window frames and other harborage areas can safely be treated with Cy-Kick Aerosol. You can also follow up with a dusting of Cimexa Dust to help eliminate these pests in carpet and in cracks and crevices around the home.
August 21, 2014 Angela asked:

A Yes, it is safe to use Cy-Kick Aerosol inside kitchen cabinets. Be sure to remove all items from the cabinets and wait until the product is completely dry to put everything back in. You will spray along the cracks and crevices where insects are likely to harbor. It could take between 2-3 hours to dry at the most. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

D from Northern Virginia asked:
QI need a quick/instant knock down spray for german roaches.
I have a pretty bad German roach problem. Which chemical has a quicker knock down for German roaches? Esfenvalerate or Cyfluthrin? I plan on alternating 2 or 3 different chemicals over the next year to get rid of them but I would like at least one chemical I purchase to be able to kill them quickly in case I run into any nests I am able to spray. I also plan to mix these chemicals with Pyridine when I use them and supplement with roach baits which I will also alternate throughout the year. I have one more question. Which aerosol spray do you recommend for instant knock down of German roaches?
We would recommend using Cy-Kick Aerosol. It will provide a quick knockdown as well as a residual. Apply as crack and crevice or void treatment where insects may be harboring. These may include openings around pipes and sinks, under refrigerators, behind baseboards, washing machines, stoves, cabinets, sewers, floor drains, and meter boxes. Spot treatment may also be made to areas including closets, around water pipes, doors and windows, around refrigerators, cabinets, sinks, stoves and other equipment, shelves, drawers and similar areas. We would also recommend using Maxforce FC Magnum. You will need to put this in areas that cannot be sprayed so that the gel does not get contaminated. Roaches will be less likely to eat it if it is contaminated. We would also recommend using Gentrol Point Source as well. This is an IGR (insect growth regulator). It is a birth control for the roaches and will stop them from reproducing.
As an extra preventative, using dust within the walls will dry them out if they are there. Delta Dust Insecticide is a waterproof dust that lasts for at least eight months. It should be applied with a hand duster.
We would recommend using Cy-Kick Aerosol. It will provide a quick knockdown as well as a residual. Apply as crack and crevice or void treatment where insects may be harboring.
