Directions For Use of Cyonara 9.7
Mixing Instructions
Dilute CYONARA 9.7 with water for application using hand-held or power-operated application equipment as a coarse spray for crack and crevice or spot and general surface (non-food/nonfeed areas only) treatments.
• Fill applicator tank with the desired volume of water and add CYONARA 9.7.
• Close and shake before use in order to ensure proper mixing.
• Shake or reagitate applicator tank before use if application is interrupted.
• Mix only amount of treatment volume as required.
Tank Mixing CYONARA 9.7 may be tank mixed with other currently registered pesticides unless expressly prohibited by the product label. A small volume mixing test with the other products is recommended to ensure compatibility. • If other chemicals are added to the applicator tank, CYONARA 9.7 should be added last. • If mixed with EC formulations, use within 24 hours. • Fill tank to desired volume and continue to agitate while making applications. • CYONARA 9.7 may be tank mixed with an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR). • Observe all restrictions and precautions which appear on the labels of these products.
Outdoor Surfaces Use
• Apply with either hand or power application equipment as a residual treatment to ornamental plants next to foundations of buildings and to surfaces of buildings, porches, screens, window frames, eaves, patios, garages, refuse dumps, and other similar areas where these insect pests are active.
• Remove all exposed food and cooking utensils.
• Cover all food handling surfaces or wash thoroughly after treatment and before use.
• Do not use on edible crops.
Perimeter Barrier Treatments
• Apply a continual band of insecticide around building foundations and around windows, doors, service line entrances, eaves, vents, and other areas to reduce the potential for entry by crawling pests.
• Before application, remove debris and leaf litter from next to the foundation, cut back vegetation and branches that touch the foundation, and move or rake back rocks, deep mulch, or other potential pest harborage next to the foundation.
• Apply the band up to 10 ft. wide around the structure (or according to state regulations governing commercial pest control) and upwards along the foundation to 3 ft. and around windows, doors, and roof overhangs.
• Apply as a coarse spray to thoroughly and uniformly wet the foundation and/or band area so that the insecticide will reach the soil or thatch level where pests may be active.

This killed everything!!
By Steve on September 5, 2007Cyonara 9.7 is an awesome product. Not too many products last long down here in the 100 degree heat but this does for a solid 4 weeks. This killed everything, there weren't any bugs even at night with the porch light on. I had a really horrible problem with flies, crickets and spiders and this knocked them down permanently for a month while it was in the upper 90's/ 100's.

Cyonara 9.7
By Michael on July 9, 2010After months of battling cockroaches, flies, and ants, I went to my local pest control store. They sold 1 pint size container of Cyonara 9.7 and showed me the proper way to mix this substance in a 2 gallon sprayer. About 24-48 hrs after I applied it around my home, there were no signs of any of the above mentioned insects even after receiving 10 inches of rain plus temps over 90 degrees. By the way I had sprayed my house over 15 days ago. I would refer Cyonara 9.7 to anyone who does their own pest control, it's definitely worth the money.

Finally, a product that really works

I have had tick problems for years. No matter what I used or which pest control company came to the house to spray, they never seemed to go away. I sprayed with Cyonara 9.7 according to the instructions 3 weeks ago and have yet to see any ticks at all! As a matter of fact, I haven't seen any bugs! This stuff does the job. I will definitely use this product again.

Great product to use around the house. Spray this stuff around the baseboards inside of the house twice a year and I am pretty much bug free. Same stuff as the Demand CS (one of the local pro's uses it). Use to pay them a bunch of money a year now a bottle of this stuff will last me a few years. Only 4 stars because it does leave a light odor for about 30min after spraying it. The Demand CS doesn't leave a odor.

Various sizes and ages. Although not all are gone. I see them rarely I am now working to eliminate all hiding areas and spay all potential hiding places.

Just received the Cyonara 9.7. Sprayed our yard (roughly 1 1/2 acres) according to directions. We used the concentration for killing mosquitos, which is our ultimate goal. Sprayed in the evening, by the next morning its as if we never sprayed. I'm sure it's killing all the other bugs out there, but the mosquitos is our biggest problem. Going to try again at a higher concentration level, maybe this will help. We live on 17 acres and it's very wooded and damp (south GA). Can't go outside in the early mornings or in the evenings due to getting attacked by mosquitos. Really want this to work!!! I'll update after we try a stronger mix.

Absolutely the best product I have found!
By AJ on April 7, 2013You can take it from me, I am tough to please but this product has never let me down. We lived in Texas with a pool right out back door. We entertained all the time and everyone would comment on how even flies would not bother them. I put it on in Spring and Fall and never have any bug issues inside or out. I start at the edge of roof and spray going down the side of house, then work my way away from house. The further I get from the house, the less % I use. We have never had an issue with fleas, ticks or any other bug related problems. Spray the outside like I said and the inside is not necessary to treat because you have set up a barrier. Now we live in Oh and I am on here to order more for this year.

We live out in the country in Central TX and this summer we had the worst scorpion infestation we ever had. Three to four scorpions in the house every single night and dozens on the porch. On top of that I have the worst panic attacks over them. We had used other products to get rid of them and nothing helped. A friend recommended cyonara 9.7 as he has been using it for years. I have now used cyonara 9.7 over the past two month (spray every three weeks) and all the scorpions are gone. The first time we sprayed I went out a good 8 feet from the house and 3 feet up the walls. Within 48 hours we had dozens of dead or dying scorpions on the porch and a few feet into the house. After 72 hours we didn't see any in the house and only occasional ones on the porch. They were either dead or dying. I have sprayed every three weeks and the last time went as far as 20 feet out from the house and around all the trees and rockpiles. No scorpions anymore. Not even deads ones. I will spray again in the spring to nip them in the butt immediately but my husband thinks I have eradicated them a good 90%. I have become so confident about cyonara 9.7 that I am no more worried about the scorpions and my panic attacks are all but gone. Cyonara is my lifeline and I will continue using it. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a problem with scorpions or any other arachnid or insect for that matter as it kills it all. Nice thing it does not affect my lizards or geckos. Cyonara holds up wonderful to rain as well. Scorpions usually die within 24 hours of exposure but start acting sick a lot sooner then that. They turn darker brownish in color, drop their tail to the ground and then just freeze in place and don't move. :)

AYes, you can use Cyonara 9.7 while kids and dogs are in the house. When you mix this concentrate with water, it is only .03% - .06% active ingredient and only strong enough to kill small insects. It is a good idea to keep pets and children outside or in another room while treating and then allow about 30 minutes for the product to dry. Once dry it is perfectly safe for children and pets to re-enter the living space. Of course you should always store the bottle of concentrate just like any other cleaning chemicals, out of reach of children and pets.

AIn most cases, you will need to wait 1-2 hours or until the application is dry. Since Cyonara 9.7 is water based it has just about the same drying time as water.

ACyonara 9.7 will work for bedbugs but it should not be the only product you use. You will also need to use an aerosol that can be sprayed on mattresses and furniture and into cracks and crevices, dust that you can apply in wall voids and other cracks and crevices and an insect growth regulator to help halt the breeding process. We have put together bedbug kits that contain all of the different products you would need for bedbug treatments. We also recommend using bedbug proof mattress and boxspring encasements to help eliminate current infestations and help make bedbug inspections easier in the future. Unfortunately there is no way to guarantee that you will not get infested in the future. Bedbugs are notorious hitch hikers and can come in on people or infested items.

ACyonara kills as athe bee comes in contact with it. If you were to stain over the treated area, it may cause an adverse effect. We recommend using Boracare to raw untreated wood. After the treated area has dried you can paint, stain, treat with what ever product you chose.

AYes, Cyonara is a great product to treat scorpions. You would mix .8fl oz per gallon of water and apply around the perimeter of the structure 2-3 feet up and 2-3 feet out. This product can also be used indoors as well as a crack and crevice treatment.

ACyonara is a water based product and should not stain any surface that water itself would not stain. Having said that we always recommend you test old siding or old paint for staining before spraying the entire surface.

ACyonara 9.7 is not labeled to be used on mattresses. When used as part of a bedbug control program Cyonara should be reapplied every 10-14 days to surfaces allowed on the product label. We recommend Bedlam Plus for use on mattresses and other upholstered furniture.

ACyonara 9.7 can be used in a hose end sprayer that can be calibrated to spray the usage rate that fits your needs.

ACyonara could potentially be harmful to earthworms and any other insect that crosses over the treated area as it is not a selective insecticide. Cyonara should not cause any issues for other animals as long as they are not sprayed with the product. You will most likely see reduction in the animals that are there to eat the insects in your lawn because the insects will be gone and the critters will go elsewhere to look for a meal.

ACyonara is labeled to be used as a crack and crevice treatment only. You should use Onslaught insecticide if you would like to do a broadcast treatment over the carpeted areas. You should also note that daily vacuuming will help to remove many of the adult beetles along with the larvae. You should thoroughly inspect the house to find where the source of the infestation is actually located. Failing to get rid of the source of the infestation will lead to treatment failure. AOur theory on changing insecticide products is simple: If its working, don't change a thing! All of the products that you have mentioned are synthetic pyrethroids and since they are in the same class of insecticides they will provide very similar results. Cy-Kick CS, Onslaught and Equil Lambda 9.7 are micro-encapsulated and will last a bit longer in outdoor situations. While each of these products are labeled for termites they will only work for termite prevention when they are applied during a termite trenching treatment.

I don't want to over mix it, i.e. wasting it. The mixing chart is a little confusing with a lot of different ratios starting at 5 gallon mixing etc.
ASince scorpions are on your list you will need to use the highest application rate of 0.8 fl. oz. (24 mL) per
gallon of water. Pages 3 and 4 of Cyonara product label has a usage rate chart based on the types of pests you will be treating
